1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Has family/friend/random person ever BROKEN your doll?

Aug 14, 2012

1. @Inochi-Chwan: People sometimes have selective memory when they're worked up or about things they regret saying.

Not doll-related, but my Mom does not remember telling me that I am going to Hell because I am not religious. I'm agnostic, at best, maybe an atheist, and that upset her a great deal - even though we never really talked about religion when I was growing up and she never dragged my siblings and I to church on Sundays. My Mom is only a believer, not a zealot, so I guess she figured I'd have learned it by osmosis or something.

2. no, but I have warned them that if they damage any part of her they will pay the full cost to replace/fix her

3. Really aweful stories some of you have. I can see how most of you think as far as making them pay. :3 I know I would.

4. Not yet. I'm horribly possessive of my things and don't let anyone touch my stuff without my permission(and my friends/relatives all know this), and even when I do it's usually supervised. The only person who I've given unsupervised permission to play with my dolls so far is another friend on here. And that's only because:
A) She and the doll in question are in a different state and I still need to pay her back(she bought the doll for me and now I need to pay back the money), so I can't really see what she's doing anyways,

and

B) She's a more experienced doll owner who's always careful with other peoples dolls and I trust her to handle my resin babies without needing me to be within the same vicinity of her. She's even went as far to put tights and a shirt on her to keep her from getting to yellowed/dirty. :aheartbea

5. So far nope, my dolls are happy and safe :)

There was one incident where I thought I spoilt my friend's doll's jointed hands as the stringing inside was so troublesome and I was ready to buy her a new pair as replacement. Luckily I fixed it and it still looks the same. *phew*

6. Well. That happened, somehow. I gave my doll to my mother to hold and, well, she dropped it by accident(she then explained that she didn't expect the doll to be that heavy)
There were some scrathes on the doll's hands and one of fingers broke off... A sad thing, yes, but it wasn't like I could do anything about it, so, I just repaired it all, fortunately, there were not any severe dammages.

And then came my cat, who dropped another doll from the doll stend, don't know how. But the only one aggrived was the cat - scared to deth he run away and hid under the sofa.

7. :horror: I would kill them....
