1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How do you feel about body blushing?

Jan 24, 2016

    1. I have a question about body blushing on Dollmore. I want to order Dollmore Kid Geoul Boy, and he comes with the options 'hand blushing', 'feet blushing', 'hand&feet' blushing or 'body blushing'. Now is my question, will the hand and feet also be blushed when I choose the option body blushing? I'm sorry, total newbie here. Also does anyone happen to have a Dollmore Kid Geoul Boy and what are your experiences? :kitty2

    2. The more the better in my opinion! I love the dramatic look of a deep blush. Despite being unrealistic, I think it really makes the doll come alive somehow!

    3. For me it really depends on the doll. In the instance of most of my anthro tinies, I feel like I almost need it to capture their little critter nature. For my more humanoid dolls, I've never really done more than manicures and pedicures. I'm not really sure I could say exactly why, but I'm guessing it's an aesthetic thing. :3nodding:

    4. I think body blushing is beautiful, but it just isn't for me. I have been tempted to blush my SD girl's hands and feetsies before, but always put it off out of fear of messing up. I may possibly send them off for commission one day, but as of now it isn't something high on my to-do list.

    5. Body blushing is absolutely necessary for me. A doll just isn't complete for me without it! Heck, I have one who just would not work without her over the top body paint. I do my own paint jobs, so that might be a part in why the scratching and such doesn't bug me when it happens. I can fix it easily without stripping the whole piece.

I usually don't blush on the joints, however. They are dolls, and I don't mind emphasizing the joints a little.

    6. As of right now I don’t own a doll that has body blushing on it but I have seen some dolls at meets that are body blushed and they were stunning. One day I’d live to own one of my own. It really helps bring them to life.
