1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How Important to You Is It That Your Doll be Absolutely Unique?

Mar 28, 2010

    1. Well I didn't buy a resinsoul ya because everybody seemed to have one. But I really regret this decision xd Ones I have saved up enough money I will still Buy her <3

    2. Even if you have a popular doll that a lot of other people have,it would still be unique and one of a kind after you customize it. I've never seen two dolls of the same sculpt that looked exactly the same,so I don't think about buying limited dolls or whatever.

    3. It doesn't matter to me that my doll's completely unique with his/her sculpt at all. In fact, I have a friend on another forum whom wanted to get the Spearmint, and I fell in love with him, so we both got him and we're excited to see how he turns out and compare in two different people's hands. Also, I carry around pictures of my first doll, Titania, around on my ipod using the two different photos they have for her and an owners photos that they submitted to their site to show people how different you can make them look and how unique one doll can be, even when it's all the same doll. Even if a friend and myself had the same mold that was a fullset I wouldn't mind. The main thing that matters to me is that I love my doll and they love theirs. It would also make for some interesting pictures :)

    4. I don't really care to make my dolls unique or different. As long they look nice and make me happy all is good. : )

    5. I don't mind so much if I have a sculpt that a lot of other people have, although I do prefer dolls with a more unique overall appearance, whether it be due to wigs or eyes or faceups or fashion.

    6. I personally don't really mind or care if my doll(s) are unique or not. I'll buy ones that I like, I'll dress them the way I like, and I'll do whatever I like. As long as I'm happy with my doll(s), that's all that matters to me. Besides, I'm sure this has been said, but even if you own the same mold as someone, it doesn't mean that your doll can't or won't be unique. Considering how much customizing you can do with them, no doll will ever be exactly alike.

    7. Sculpt-wise, I kind of think it'd be impossible for me to have a unique doll considering I usually only frequent the really well-known company websites. The fact that the doll is mine makes him/her unique for me, it doesn't matter if someone else has a doll that looks like my own.

    8. I've never cared about how unique or popular a doll is. I buy what I like. My dolls have default faceups so they aren't very unique. However, they are exactly what I wanted and I'm very happy with them. Maybe, when their faceups are faded or chipped I'll give them something more unique.
