It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum. Not counting the 2 lay-a-ways that I am working on, the doll I am trying to swap for, the dolls I was just given for my birthday, Christmas, and the one that my friends just bought me for no good reason other than they saw her on clearance and thought I'd like to have her, on my own, I bought and had 2 Miro dolls delivered this past month. (My first resin BJD's, ever.) Or at least I paid for their heads. The bodies were a gift. I do have the lay-a-ways and the swap to finish and that will mean more BJD's this year but I'm not planning on going overboard. I want to get these finished and my Dollmore heads by Christmas but that's it. I'm new to BJD's though so I'm probably spending more now than I am likely to in future. The charm is still new... :P

    9. I guess it depends on how you define a "doll." I bought the body for a head I've had since mid-2010 (probably almost exactly 3 years ago, in fact) just over a week ago. The last complete doll I purchased, however, was in 2009. I'm torn now between succumbing to a new one or just finally getting my other floating head (from 2009) un-floated and working on completing the ones I have. :sweat

    19. I've been on a break with the hobby for a while now, just too many other things going on in my life so it's about 3-4 years since I've bought a BJD. I did buy some off-topic dolls in the meantime but I've been looking now at a Doll Leaves full set Vivian. If all goes right I might put her on layaway. Or just buy the basic & take advantage of the free face-up special they're having.

    20. It has been a total of... 8 Days since I placed my latest order... :sweat Though after this order it will be a long time until I purchase another one. The plan now is to save and "complete" the dolls I have before even starting to think of getting another one. I'm telling myself "no more dolls until you have at the very least made sure all the dolls are properly dressed and have wigs that suits them!"
