How many BJDs do you have? (2017-2018)

I have only one full doll and two floating heads on the way

 

I've got over 80...

 

Over 80! WOW, how do you keep track of so many lovelies?

 

I've got lots of word docs with lists and information (doll information listed by time of purchase--dates, prices, lists by company, size, etc.) and tons of photos (folders of dolls, clothes, shoes by size)--of all the dolls and most of the items (but I'm much less organized about the items!). Dolls are mostly in one room, a few gravitate to the living room or other places at times. And it's not hard to remember which dolls I have, because they were all important purchases... I do try and think hard about what I'm buying--although some were more impulses than others!

I've been buying bjds since 2004 and have never sold any (sold a few extra heads, though). So it adds up!

 

Currently I have 3 full dolls and an as head, but I’m still looking at expanding my collection over time~

 

It's been almost a decade since I've started collecting BJDs and I still just have 2 full MSDs. Planning on adding a third one at some point...

That is very impressive to be so organized and that all your dollies have stayed with you!

 

Hmm, I currently have 19.
1 MSD, and 2 zuzu delfs, the rest are large ones. ^^;

 

Not really. I'm just a hoarder with lists!

 

13 full dolls, 2 heads awaiting body and some floating heads that are unlikely to become full dolls.

 

I stopped counting but it's somewhere between 30 and 40 now I think. Don't dare to count 'em anymore. XD

 

Oh! Same! I have so man word doc lists I need another list to keep track of them all D:

I think I had to get to 50 to stop counting....but yeah. I don't want to know.

 

I've wanted to do that, but I have the stupid lists (with NUMBERS!). When I talk about the number of dolls, I will say something vague like, "Over 50" or "Over 70" depending on how much I feel like revealing how bad a hoarder I am...

Although I have numbers, I'm not exactly sure how many dolls I own because some are off-topic and a couple share bodies, and some have several heads, etc. It's hard to be exact when the criteria can vary. But... *sigh* "Over 70" is still bad enough without having an exact figure.

(heh... but I love all my dolls and still can't resist adding to them!)

What are floating heads please...I see them mentioned often.

 

Heads with no bodies. Usually because their owners are saving up to buy one or haven't decided which one to buy yet. Sometimes because they're "extra heads".

 

Thanks for that..I do notice that when you buy some dolls you get free heads so guess thats what some are but seems that some people have an awful lot of bodyless heads that they sell. Many thanks Vampire Angel13
