How Many Outfits Does Your Doll Have?

Fauna has been with me the longest, so she has a jeans outfit, a Lolita, a sundress and now an elf/fantasy outfit, all made by me. Kestrel has just an elf outfit, with a casual jeans/shirt combo in his future (need to buy him some sneaks). Nicolette and Florian have their LE outfits, but I'm hustling to make them something else a little less formal.

I've got a sundress, jeans/top and a Regency planned for Nicolette and Florian wants jeans/top, a Regency and a Georgian. He also tells me a Sun King court oufit in gold brocade wouldn't go amiss. He's a brat.

 

All of mine have their "default outfits" that define their character. Those outfits don't get switched around (neither do their eyes and wigs). However, I do have a few separates I can put them in if I feel like it.

 

I'm still on the lookout for more clothing for each of my girls. I like to have a small variety for both of them. They both have a kimono, both have pj's, and both have fancy dresses, but I'd like to get them more things that suit them. They're turning into the clotheshorses I'm not. XD

 

i only have one doll right now, but three coming in. He has one "complete" outfit (a dollheart outfit), and a couple pairs of hand made pants, and some hand made shirts and a anotherspace shirt. (and a new years outfit from DH from a grabbag). So not alot, but I want to make him more. He also only has one wig..

I have an amber coming in someday, and she has one outfit for her (but right now my one doll is wearing it aha). And my tiny that is coming in has three dresses! the other doll coming in comes with an outfit so hes not getting anything else thats bought, ill make him the rest. (hes a pipos.)

So i guess theyre pretty modest wardrobes. I want to try and learn to make more clothes, so they can be dressed more uniquely (and so i save money).

 

i'm a maniac for clothing and accessories.. meaning, yes, i'm the type to have a lot of wigs ( eyes.. not anymore, her make-up is hard to match so i only have one now )..

let's see.. for just one girl i have.. 5 complete outfits ( w/ matching shoes =P ) and 2 outfits w/o shoes.. and ive just ordered 2 more clothings which I'm waiting a reply to.. XD and mind you T__T these sets arent exactly cheap........

I just received her a month ago ._. and even sold like 3~4 complete outfits...

 

God over ten I'd say, they have more clothes than me...second thoughts, they really don't.

 

I love to buy clothes for my dolls!! I HATE to buy for myself and never do; and my mil buys most of my boys' clothes (or cousin handmedowns) so they are my 'fashion' outlet. I have less expensive dolls and they can wear cheaper clothes (no period costumes or fancy things; just plain shirts/pants/dresses); I have an etsy blythe addiction and whenever i find cheap (like $6!) dress I have to buy it for SOMEONE (several of my dolls fit that size). so I've collected a lot of clothes... I don't always change them but like to have the options.... I'm like that other poster than said I get bored if they stay in the same clothes/pose too long.

 

My girls both have "several" looks, and thusly many different outfits.

Of course, they have their "character perfect" outfits, but I think, just like in real life, they should have other clothes that aren't quite them but look good and the like.


So, while i don't have that much yet, I am working on a mighty large collection for both of them.

 

Tae-Jun only has two at the moment, and one pair of shoes. Asriel has none because I told myself not to buy him clothes until I got him a body. xDD Tae-Jun is kind of hard to buy for. He only likes three colors, and will only wear baggy shirts, plus he's SD13 so that is sometimes a problem (for example his skinny Dollmore pants fit, but his entire butt hangs out xDD Thankfully his shirts cover it!)

 

Sanyu's current wardrobe?

-Black Halter
-Pair of jeans that don't quite fit (she needs new ones)
-Black tights
-Black Hakama Pants
-Gray long sleeved shirt with skulls on it
-Blue shirt in the same style as the other shirt
-Skull black arm warmers
-Black Boots
-Waraji shoes (Like the Shinigami from Bleach wear)

and the random things I sew and force her to wear even though they aren't really part of her 'wardrobe'.

Eventually (I keep saying this) Sanyu will also get a blue men's Kimono/Yukata (don't know which) as well.

 

My Lati probably has about 25 outfits so far, and I haven't even had her for a month!
I spend all of my time sewing for her

 

Vestige's at least one outfit to fit each season and enough to mix and match. 8]
Luel's covered for spring to fall with maybe...2-3 per season, but he doesn't have much for the winter.
Leilah-Marie's new, so all she's got is a cute little spring/summer dress.

 

Most of them just have a couple. My mini girl has about six or seven. My cherishdoll boy, on the other hand...he's my little spoilt brat. He has, erm...between eighteen and twenty-two shirts, six or seven pairs of pants and about the same number of shorts, two leather jackets, two formal jackets and a couple pairs of shoes, plus various accessories.

 

Let's see.. I have 4 outfits complete with shoes.
These are divided between my three dolls.. so there's one floating outfit. xD

 

My girl has 2 complete outfits(in that they're a set), 1 oversized shirt dress thing, a pair of shorts and a turtleneck The most deficient part of her wardrobe is shoes because she's been wearing the ones from her default outfit for 6 months now :'D But it's okay cause I seem to instinctively pick clothing that'll go with the shoes lol

 

My dolls only really have three outfits each ;_;
I've been meaning to get them more clothes for spring/summer, but unfortunately money doesn't grow on trees.

 

My mini, Hazel, has two dresses and a bunch of separates. My tiny, Clover, only has two outfits... but I've ordered two more for her this morning (these will probably end up being shared with the Glot I have on order, who will also be coming with an outfit). I feel like both dolls are woefully under-wardrobed, it would be nice if each had at least a half dozen "good" outfits, but I'll get there eventually. I might have a harder time with the next doll I want to get though, I have a very specific style in mind for her but I don't see too much that really fits that style.

 

My Puki Echo has 5 outfits so far. Pipos Mac has one, Pipos Ringo has one, and DF Pet Ari Nara has two or three.

I'm just having trouble finding clothes that I like or are in stock.

 

The two dolls I currently have are the same size (from the same company even) and so they share outfits. With a few exceptions.

Moswen hates red and it is a fight to get him into it and he looks very ticked when wearing red so all red items are Jaiseki's. Moswen also has a specific traditional costume I made him and the thought of putting it on Jaiseki simply doesn't fly.

Jaiseki has claimed ownership of a pair of black leather pants and a silvery grey leather vest. That's likely his favourite. I have plans to make him some clothes that are specifically his but time is my enemy, as always.

The next doll I'll be getting is larger than Moswen and Jaiseki and so his wardrobe will be entirely his just because of that fact.

 

each of mine has about 3 outfits...so it makes about 40+ but i dont change them much.
