1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How Many Outfits Does Your Doll Have?

May 12, 2009

    1. Too many. :C

    2. So far, about 4. His aikido training suit, a sleeping kimono, a samurai outfit and a LARP outfit including shoes, wristbracers, bag and sword (a 1/3 scale LARP rangersword).

    3. Well i dont have any "solid" outfits bought for my dolls. I have shirts, overshirts, pants, shoes, accessories, etc. Mix and match sort of things. I like to be able to do more than one thing with a certain item and not be limited to just one use if that makes any sense ^^; but i have those photo craft boxes from the hobby store to hold all of the doll clothes & accessories and i have 2 full of clothes, and 1 filled with necklaces/wigs/shoes/etc. :) it may sound like alot but when im looking through it really doesnt seem like enough! lol

    4. stopped counting, and the msd girl tends to wear my sd's shirts for some silly reason XD

    5. Just enough for now, though I plan to get more for him by the end of this month.

    6. I've hit an odd combination of not enough and too many. My Johnny isn't even here yet, and yet has shirts, jackets, and sweaters coming out his ears. At the same time I've only got one pair of jeans, one pair of socks, and one pair of shoes for him. And he has ZERO T-shirts!!! I'm going to have to rectify that.

    8. The only one seriously lacking in outfits is my boy, as he has I think two pants, and three tops, which has gotten pretty boring. Well, I do have an odd-sized hybrid too, for whom I'm slowly making clothing. My SD girl probably has the most, but I don't have an exact number, but it is nearly entirely dresses.

    9. Most of my dolls have just one outfit, but my resinsoul mei has at least five by now, I just like to change her clothes all the time, but not the others. But I have never had their outfits work with the seasons, though that is a cool idea :)

    10. My SD girls share outfits. I just recently organized them and stored them in a large suitcase. I have probably collected around 30 outfits in there. My boys probably have around 2-3 outfits each. I only get to change their outfits once a month. I usually change everyones to make them look good as a group. So if I do 1 doll, I have to do the rest too! I also tried sewing their tiny outfits. It takes me 1 whole day to make a decent piece of clothing. I will probably go back to that when I have some spare time. I found that to be really challenging!

    11. Well, I have seven dolls, 5.5 outfits, and one pair of shoes. ^^' I have a bad habit of buying new dolls before I buy outfits for the ones I already have (leaving me no money for outfits). I know I could make outfits, but I get frustrated with my machine extremely easily. :T

(Although, if it is any help for anyone, I actually found recently that outfits for 17" Disney doll girls will fit MNF/Unoa sized girls.)

    12. Most of my gang is pretty content with with having one or two outfits, and access to the appropriate sized community closet.. Freyr has a few more outfits, but that's because he will only wear military uniforms, military style, camouflage, and khaki colored clothing. He will wear army green, but it's not his favorite color. ;)

Lue is the resident fashionista here, he probably has way too many clothes, seeing as he currently has his own large closet for hanging garments. It's as wide as my largest clothing tansu. Lol, in fact by comparison, Lue has more room for his hanging clothes than I do for mine!

As if that wasn't enough, he has taken over almost half of my other clothing tansu to accommodate his folded clothes, and he still has at least two large boxes full of clothing that I need to make room for someplace. Lol, and knowing Lue he'll probably manage to coax and wheedle me out of the rest of the tansu. ;)

Fortunately he's usually pretty good about finding some clothing he doesn't want anymore, or at least some that he is willing to share, whenever we have a naked new arrival. Well, most of the time, anyway, lol.

I really need to go through his clothes, and see if I can manage to convince him to donate some of it to the MSD sized kids community closet. ;)

    13. My 70 cm Abadon has 2 outfits plus pajamas, Xander I recently got he is a fullset Ringdoll Valo he only has that outfit. I plan on changing that very soon. My 2 girls however have more outfits than I can count. But to their advantage my daughter prefers female dolls that are similar sized to mine so we swap outfits often.

    14. ....a lot:sweat
I was attempting to organize her clothes the last time I changed her and it hit me that she has A LOT more clothes than I thought (about 12 full outfits and a few separates), I couldn't fit all her outfits into one bag!
I change her pretty often, usually at least once a month but sometimes more often if I feel like changing her for some reason.
I don't/have yet to buy her an outfit for each season in the year (in fact, I don't think she has any summer-appropriate outfits), I stick to one main style for her (lolita) but it was never my intention for her to only have one outfit.
