Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     2. I'm 22. I got into the hobby when I was 16, then took a 4 year hiatus while I was a broke college student/college dropout. Now I'm slowly getting back into it and realizing how much I missed it :)

    3. I'll be 27 in a month with 5 dolls at home and hopefully my new girl will be delivered around my bday and I'll be getting a floating head then as well! Started out in 2011 :)

    6. I'll be 59 later this week! (How did I get so old???) I've been into dolls my whole life, but never actually bought any manufactured ones, just made them myself. I bought my first BJD - an Elfdoll Ryung - in 2007, and never having "collected" dolls, I totally caught the BJD bug, and will soon have a total of 39 dolls (when the two on order arrive). I don't think anyone is ever too old for this hobby.

    8. I'll be turning 33 this year, but I've just started. Lots of fun lying ahead! The only thing that bothers me a bit is how the age gap between me and the dolls will widen over the years. Beauty fades... but life is there for living, right?

    12. I'm 20, I'll be turning 21 this August and my first doll actually came in the middle of March! I love her to pieces and I'm currently waiting on my second girl. I've admired dollies for years, which is funny because I never liked any sort of dolls as a child, though my grandmother does collect Barbie dolls so maybe that's where I get it from.

    13. I am super excited to see so many adults on this site. Somehow, so many of my hobbies seem to be particular popular amongst fourteen and fifteen year olds...o.O Nothing wrong with kids having a good time, of course, but it always makes me feel super old.

    18. I'm going to be 27 in July, and I'm only just getting in to this hobby, so I certainly hope I'm not getting too old! I've always been of the mind that no one is too old for anything if they enjoy it. Aging may not be optional, but growing up certainly is!

    19. I've been collecting things since I was a child... I think I went through a phase in my tweens where I thought I was "too old" for things ((but would FIGHT if someone told me to get rid of my stuff, citing lazyness but FIRM ownership)), but now that I'm 30 I am nowhere near denying that I don't love dolls.

      This is my first year for BJDs and my first one (an Ante) will be arriving soon :) THankfully my girlfriend is extra supportive and wonderful, which I think helps ;)

      But My Little Ponies, Monster High, Ever After High, Alice in Wonderland? Never too old... and watch out y'all 'cause this 30 year old is gonna spoil the crud out of a wee doll ;)

      I don't think it's possible to be "too old" for dolls, the bjd community has such a vast age range, it's really amazing that everyone can come together for one thing! ^^
