1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How Old Are You?

Feb 26, 2014

    1. I'm 26, and I'll be 27 in early September (when my first doll should be arriving!:dance)

      Haha I know, right?

    2. I an 19 and very new to the hobby. I hope I never outgrow the hobby and have no plans to. :love

    3. 20 !! OH no.
I am considered young to be working already. but a lot of people been scolding me because I work AND instantly use the money to buy dolls ahahah!

And nope, I was thinking BJD hobby is more suitable for the older people anyways (teenagers and up). I can't imagine my young self playing with these kind of dolls, imagine if i got careless and break their figers?! whoa.
you can never be too old to enjoy art =D

    4. I'm 18! I first knew of BJDs like a year ago. And I don't think you can ever be too old for them. I have an aunt that collect dolls and she's past her 60s!

    5. I'm 18 years old! I got my first doll at 17 though ^^

    6. I guess I'll just jump in again and say that that at 63 I am happy to be a newby BJD mama. These dolls are just amazing and have taken over most of my life, between sewing and photos and other crafting abilities. I'm just one happy grandma.

You are never too old for dolls.

    7. 23, soon to be 24 here! :) I got my first doll when I was 18, though.

    8. 23 and started when I was 19 :D

    9. Am 29 years old!!
Doll collecting is a hobby during 13 years!!
Custom make-up and the doll fell into this hobby even more.

    10. I started last year. Turning 27 this year. Glad to see a wide range of age.
Although the more sensitive question would be our gender.:sweat

    11. I'm 17! Have been in the hobby for nearly 5 years already XD

    12. I just turned 25, and I've been involved with BJD just a few years now. Given how many aspects there is to this hobby, I'm not really surprised at such a wide range of ages!

    13. 30, almost 31, I got my first doll aged 29 but I've been interested in BJD's since I was about 24.

    14. I started this hobby when I was 23years old and now I am 26years old and I'm still buying new dolls. I am playing my dolls with my 5 year old daughter~

    15. New to the hobby and I'm 24. Most people have something they collect no matter their age so I don't see any reason to stop at a certain age. :P

I remember as a child visiting this woman who collected doll houses, I didn't understand why I couldn't play with them...I understand now! xD

    16. I think I posted here before, but that was a while back. I'm 18 and I have been in the hobby for four years. An early bloomer you may say.

    17. I'm only 17, but I bought my first doll four years ago :P
I don't really plan on stopping any time soon, I think it's a hobby that truly includes all age groups.

    18. I'm 18, and have wanted a doll for five years. I plan on ordering my first precious girl within the next month.
I definitely plan on keeping this hobby a thing for a while; maybe if I start a business they'll join me throughout the journey.
[They'll call me the crazy doll lady who owns the salon and haunted house xD]

    19. I'm 23 going on 24. I don't think you're ever too old for something, especially if it brings you joy.

    20. 37, 38 in November. Lol, I get judged (kiddingly) on almost all my hobbies: too young, too old, too nerdy. :) I like a lot of things and have too much fun with them to worry if anyone actually judges me for them.
