1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How Old Are You?

Feb 26, 2014

    1. I feel so young >_<
I've been into the hobby for about a month now and I am 15.

    2. I'm 22, turning 23 this month. When I first "discovered" BJDs I was still at school but I didn't get my first one until 2 years ago (Aged 20/21).

    3. I am 27 but I will be 28 in January :)

    4. Turned 24 this August!

    5. I am 34. I started collecting when I was 27 ^^

    6. I will be 21 early next month,I purchased my first doll this year and will be getting my second girl this month(they were both in stock from DDE) and no I don't ever see myself getting rid of my dolls as I grow older.

    7. I'm 25 and I started collecting at about 17 or 18.

    8. I'm 21 and just bought my first doll this year!:)

    9. I just turned 19

    10. I'm 20 and I started collecting when I was 14 *_*

    11. I am 18 and hopefully there are more BJD, friends that have BJD, cool characters/stories for BJD in my future

    12. I'm 21 years old. Have been interested in BJDS since I was 19, but still don't have one yet as I keep getting preoccupied with other things.

    13. I am 29 but feel you are never too old! Many of my favorite BJD people are older then me.

    14. Hello all!! I am 29 years old :)

    15. Wow, the age range here is awesome! While I'm not new to dolls and collectables (my room looks like it ought to belong to a 12 year-old), I am new to BJDs. I just turned 30 in August. :)

    16. Well I am a guy and I love Sailor Moon so figure out my room lol

    17. I'm 29 and I wish I had started sooner. I love my bjds and a lot of my other hobbies revolve around them.

    18. According to my driver's license I'm 57, but I have a hard time remembering that I'm supposed to be an old adult person. I just don't feel like one! Lol, I suspect that like Merlin, I'm aging backwards. :-D

I've always loved dolls, and the dolls I was always the most attracted to were the ones that looked like beautiful older children rather than babies. However, their stiffness and inability to assume natural positions always bothered me, even as a very young child I was frustrated by it. I wanted them to be able to move and pose like a human.

I also wanted boy dolls, beautiful boy dolls, which is why I tried to turn a lot of my girl dolls into boys. ^_~

Finally, I discovered BJDs, and found the ideal doll that I'd been searching for at last!

    19. 31 here, and no, I don't think you're ever too old to collect dolls (or play with toys or have a vivid imagination, or anything else society brands "childish"!

    20. I'm 30, but in my family I'm not the only one with BJD, my wife has them too, but most awesome my grandmother has one too... so yes the age range is awesome here!
