Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. I got my first BJD in May of this year, and I'm 23. Don't know how long I'll be in this hobby, but it's been fun so far. ^^

    2. Just started the hobby (and I ordered my first doll 4 days ago and I'm *really* trying to tell myself not to count the days because it will be a rather long wait - it's a new doll XD) and I'm 30 years old, I have a partner (9 years and counting), 2 dogs (4 and 5 years old) and my grandma (80 years old) is giving me tips to sew clothes for my doll XD

    5. I just turned 20 but I've been vaguely interested in bjd's since I saw one on ebay as a kid. I've collected dolls (porcelain, Bratz, Living Dead Dolls) since I was a baby. I wouldn't worry about age, my great grandmother collected dolls until she passed away last year. I say do what makes you happy! :)

    7. I've been looking at BJDs since I first discovered them at around age 19, but never got beyond browsing. At that age the cost was just too much to contemplate, but at 28 I have a bit more freedom and I find that I am still interested now also.

    15. I will be turning 50 in December which means I am so old that I still own original 1960s Best of the West (Johnny West) dolls!
      I just discovered BJDs this year. I think they reflect the fulfillment of years of technological and artistic development in the evolution of dolls/action figures.
