Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     10. I'm a 29 year old male and have loved dolls ever since I can remember. My grandmother would buy them for me because she saw how happy they made me, that's something that we shared. I don't think you can be too old to collect dolls, especially if it's something that you love! ;D

    11. I'm a 24 year old woman, and I've been collecting various types of dolls since 2009. I don't think that there's a "too old" age limit for dolls, and I think that there are "mainstream acceptable" ways of displaying your hobby as you get older. I am saving up for a house right now, and when I purchase it, my doll collection is going into a fancy glass cabinet, for example.

      The important thing, though, is to do what you love, regardless of how old you are. There are times and places for toning your enthusiasm up and down, and part of being an older collector is recognizing those situations.

      I'm so glad to see that there are so many older collectors in this thread! I thought that most BJD collectors were in their teens, but this thread is really making me re-consider what I picture of when I think of a "typical" BJD collector! :)

    13. I will be 24 in February. I love my dolls and I don't think age matters as long as you have fun in the hobby. I have also gotten my boyfriend into the hobby, muhahaha.

    14. I am 19! I began collecting when I was in grade 8 so... 5 years ago? when I was 14 I ordered a BBB doll and a DZ fox. Ended up selling them because I didn't have the money to keep buying things for them. I just ordered my first SD and i am going to begin collecting if all goes well and I bond with this girl :3
      I'll have to cchange my username next year.....

    20. I'm 39, and I've been with BJDs for 9 years. I've never had a stretch where I was without a doll of some persuasion. :3

      Better yet, my son is almost old enough to join DoA himself! He's had BJDs since he was 6. I'm more excited about that than anything else!

      So, I guess he and I epitomize "never too old or too young!"
