It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     6. I feel really young when I look at all the different ages here. I am 18 and I don't think there's such a think as being too old for this. If you love something and it's not hurting anybody, how could it ever be wrong? I actually like the fact that there is such a variation in the age here and that people don't seem to care, it makes me think that this hobby is full of open-minded people :)

    10. I'm 41, and I've owned dolls since 2007, so 7, almost 8 years. I don't believe in 'too old', either. I don't believe in growing up and giving up on all the things you love, even if others my age find them 'childish'. Hey, I'm comfortably supporting myself, so why does it matter?

    14. I was into this hobby when I was 14 (which was 10 years ago) but I couldn't afford a bjd... I got my first "doll" a dal from my friend on my 22nd birthday~ until now I am almost 25, I purchased my first two BJDs~~ I guess if only parents are willing to buy bjds for their kids they can start this hobby early, if not, will need to wait till you get a job and start saving money for them:roll:

    18. I'm 26, year of the dragon (rawr). Been aware of/involved in the hobby since 2003, here on the forum since 2005, same year I got my first doll. Considering that my first exposure to dolls was my mother's porcelain collectibles.. Yeah, no such thing as too old.

      (Ironic tidbit: My profile biography has been "Getting too old for this." since I was 19. xD)
