1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How Old Are You?

Feb 26, 2014

    1. I'm 32. I got my first BJD at 23. ....has it really been that long? :sweat

    2. Ahhhh....I feel so awkward surrounded by 20 year olds!!! *Looks up at everyone* I'm only 13.....

    3. FINALLY another teen in the hobby! Hi!!!

    4. I just turned 28.

    5. I'm 22 years old, I don't have my doll yet, but I still work with my non-bjd dolls.

    6. I'm gonna be 21 in May--I believe I was 16 years old when I got my first doll; I can't exactly remember.

    7. I'm 35, a BJD fan since 29 and bought my first doll in 34 only:) feel quite comfortable with this:)

    8. I'll be 24 in June :)

    9. I`m 23. You will never be old for your hobby!

    10. I'm 23 years old too! I got my first BJD at 20 and this year I finally gotten more active in the community with the online forums. I think as long as you love the hobby you can never be too old to have a BJD! :XD:

    11. I'm 22, turning 23 in may.
I'll never grow out of dolls. I may not own a BJD yet (i've got one half paid off) but i own almost 200 monster high dolls, and i couldn't afford to outgrow them with how much i've invested :p

    12. 22. I don't think you can outgrow it. You grow with it. Your skill does.

    13. I'm reminded of the scene from toy story 2 when woody gets repaired. The man was at least 80! And he new exactly what to do wih his folding box full of eyes, airbrushes and all his tools.

    14. I'm 24 and getting my first BJD very soon. =) It makes me really happy to see such a broad range of ages represented here! I love that this hobby has the power to bring people from different generations together, as my other hobby usually doesn't.

    15. I'm 49 in June.

    16. I'm 55, started making stuffed dolls when I was 12, then moved on to making porcelain, then started sculpting, then one day I don't even remember what I was looking for............and there she was! That was in 2008. Received my first in 2009. Been in love with BJDs ever since.

    19. I wasn't expecting everyone to be just as old as me or older even! I always thought BJD was for the kiddies and I felt like it's too late for me to get into the hobby! I've been admiring BJD's since I was in highschool but only just bought one for myself last month ; u ; and will be expecting my first girl and boy in the next few months~I am 22 currently but turning 23 in August~

    20. I'm 21 and I've been into BJDs since 2007. Got my first doll -08, when I was 14. :'D It's been so long...
