1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How Old Are You?

Feb 26, 2014

    1. :)I am 33 and well be 34 in Oct. Being born on the 31 dose suck though.

    2. I'm turning 25 by the end of March. I'm not at all concerned about growing too old for this hobby. I think I will always be fascinated by BJDs and the many creative hobbies that comes with it. My dolly-goal for this year is getting better at doing faceups ;D

    3. I'm 37... good to know I'm not the only kinda middle-aged/older person here; I looked at the "post a picture of yourself!" thread and everyone is so young :/

    4. Wow! The age variance is great on here!

    5. I think you might be right! How long have you been in the hobby? :D

    6. 31 and got in the hobby last year. But it looks like I will be here for a very long time

    7. Hitting my 21st by end of March! So excited, expecting family member #2 around then too.

    8. Born in 1985 (currently 28). I'll never stop with dolls, ever!

    9. Aww! Turning 30 isnt as bad as it sounds! I turned 30 a few months ago and thought it was gonna be the end of youth! Turns out, the older I get, the younger I act because I start caring less about what people think of me! Feels good to be 30 actually! Wheeeeeeeeee~~

    10. I'm 17 (18 soon), and I've been collecting various dolls ever since I was little, but I got my first BJD when I was 15 (saved up for him all by myself!). I feel so young!! One day I'll catch up to all of you. I don't think I'm ever going to stop collecting dolls heheh

    11. I'm 26, in June will be 27! And I thought that I'm the one of the older bjd owners xd

    12. I'm 20 and I'm going to have my first BJD this year ~

    13. I'm 32, and I've been collecting dolls on and off all my life. BJDs were kind of the holy grail for me when I was in university because back then I couldn't fathom ever being able to afford one. Though I've certainly scaled back my buying, I don't believe I will ever be done with this hobby!

    14. I'm 25 and started collecting 2 years ago. I will never be too old for dollies (or disney etc) but my interest might one day fade. It won't be due to my age though and it is very possible my interest will come flaring up again later. :)

    15. I'm 24. I think I got my first doll when I was 20. That seems right.

    16. Hey, you know what? I read in a medical textbook that middle age doesn't actually start until 50's-60's...so congrats! you're still young!

Besides if playing with dolls can't keep people young, what will? lol

    17. I'm 24 going on 25 next month... :(

    18. I just turned 18 in January; I got my first doll when I was 16. One can never be too old (or young) to collect dolls! :)

    19. I'm currently 22 soon to be 23. I known about the hobby for over 8 years but finally was able to get into the hobby about 2 years ago. :D You cannot ever be too old for dolls!

    20. I just turned 23 last week. I found for me the hobby has gotten easier (at least financially) as I've gotten older and out of my parentals' immediate scrutiny...
