Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. I'm 31 will be turning 32 at the end of April :) (I got my Mom into the hobby as well) I don't think there is an age limitation on owning/playing with dolls. As far as I'm concerned all that matters is that you are happy and have fun!

    2. 53 going on 88 - doll collecting can be for anyone, no matter what age. I do agree that ABJD's due to the high costs can seem to be for older gals and guys; but, if you can afford it; anyone at any age can have fun with this hobby. Having this special forum to come to everyday and enjoy it is wonderful and I feel blessed to have the ability to experience this unique hobby and share it with many others around the world.     14. Don't worry--not upset. The curiosity about age is one thing, but the "too old to play with dolls" is a little provocative since it does seem like a question about certain ages being good or bad or whatever. But I didn't think you meant to be offensive.

      I do still think a poll would be more informative about finding out about how old everyone is, though. :)

    15. Im turning 22 this month. And no, I don't think anyone will be too old for BJDs. Even my 46 year old mom is planning on getting one for herself.

    17. Since i was very young i've always played with dolls. Well, i never really PLAYED with them, i rather just dress them up and make them look pretty haha. when i was older, i think i was 12, i started collecting porcelain dolls. Now i am 23 and I am in love with BJD xD this will never end ahah

    19. I'm 42... I noticed as I was reading over the responses that there are only a handful of folks in their 30's and 40's, and I wonder if the age range tends to be more <30 and 50+ due to the pressures of kids... I have three and I know it's sometimes hard to find time to work on my dolls (I have two that need faceups right now).
