1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

How old is your oldest doll?

Mar 3, 2013

    1. Four years. She is still young :)

    2. Aeka is my oldest, she's three years old this year.

As for dolls that are just old period, that would be Yuri. He's going on seven and it shows, but I don't mind.

    3. My oldest is my SDC Arashi - he was made in 2005. But I didn't get him until much later. :)

    4. My oldest doll, a DIM Flowne, will turn 6 years old in April.

    5. My first doll is six, going on seven. Seven years in July. I would say he is my oldest, but I have two others made in 2007, but the exact making date for them is completely unknown. Two of them don't show it, the third does ^^; Previous owner kept him by a window and under spotlights, so he is pretty yellow, but its not an icky yellow

    6. My oldest and my second oldest are both seven nearly eight years old. They have been through multiple faceups, eyes, and wigs. Malach my Dollzone Xi(1st) has yellowed considerably and Nikko my Dollzone Mo(2nd) has gone from being white to greenish, but I do not think it detracts from their looks in the least. In fact, including them, four of my nine have yellowed, or greened with age.

    7. My oldest and second oldest are turning five soon, though i own dolls that were made even earlier, but since i have no exact year for them, i just go by the time they stayed with me.

    8. My first doll is 2 years old now. Kenshin, DikaDoll Murong. But I think my oldest bjd is actually a floating head Angelsdoll Baku.

    9. I think my oldest is almost 8 years old. I have an Elfdoll Red who's card says he was made in May 2006. He's in great shape and hasn't changed color one bit since I've had him! (which is only the last 4 years) I also have a Volks Megu who I -think- was made in 2007...if I'm reading her head plate right. Which I'm probably not. xD (Volks confuses me so much)

    10. My oldest doll is only a year old but it feels like its been a lot longer then that.

    11. I have a Delf EL that's about 6 years old :D

    12. my oldest doll is a crobi haz from jun 2011 and he's stayed with me since lol considering i only started the hobby in 2010 i don't think thats so bad ^^ so only 3 years c:

    13. My first doll is 11 years old.
I remember that I bought my first doll in the newly opened volks shop because at that time, there is no other bjd companies in my country except volks and they firstly entered the Korean market and opened the Tensino Korea.
I was a high school student and bjd doll was too expensive to the young little girl. So I pestered my mom almost for a year to got the permission. I remember that I spent all saved money I had to bought her. I had to wash the dishes and ran errands for my mom to received the allowance..haha. I think that idea is come from my mom's certain educational philosophy. no pain, no gain.
Anyway, this is actually the funny story to me right now, but I sometimes miss myself at those day. I was so passionate and absorbed in the dolls..Doll is almost everything to me at that time. Now I am grown up and I still love my dolls. But now, I know that I also have so many thing to care, love and think as the part of obligation and responsibility.
My first doll is now housed in the box in my closet and I don't play with her anymore. But every time I notice that the box is still there, it conjure up my good memories. Maybe this is the reason why I can't sell her even though I literally and almost forget the fact that she is still there.

    14. My first doll is a full year old as of December 25th, she is a DollNDoll Heart "Zinnia" named Nunnally. But if we are counting the age-age of one of my dolls my FairyLand MNF Rheia named Willow is 3 years old, maybe 4. I got her off of the market place. :)

    15. Phinny, my first doll, was made about eight years ago. I've had him for seven years.

There is a veryyyyy slight, even discoloration to him, but it's only noticeable when you take off his wig. He's looking pretty sharp, for such an old man! Haha! He still has his original faceup though, and that does show his age. It's a beautiful, simple faceup, and as much as I love it, it needs to be wiped and redone. There are small cracks/chips in the makeup, so yeah. Really though, considering how long I've had him, he's in wonderful shape! I'm very glad!

    16. My oldest doll is from 2007 (according to previous owner), so he's now almost 7 years old. He was originally in Angelregion white skin, but now he looks pretty creamy-colored. Basically he looks like the "normal" color of most other companies. I don't mind at all that he's old and yellowed; this actually relieved many of my fears about doll owning. I think I actually love him better for all his flaws (his broken finger, chipped ankle, etc).

    17. My oldest doll is from 2008. ^^

    18. I still have my first doll. I've had her... four years now? Oh my goodness, that makes ME feel old xD

    19. My oldest doll just turned 2~! I received her mid January of 2012 but her certificate says she was made by the company December 31st 2011 :]

    20. Well, in terms of when I BOUGHT them, my Ttori will be 5 in June; HOWEVER, my floating head, which I bought second-hand, has him beat by a year. I can't believe I've had my boys so long, already... o___o
