How old is your oldest doll?

My OLDEST doll was my grandmother's doll from around 1910, the oldest one that was mine is from 1952, but my first and oldest BJD is my Katja Lishe. I think she has been with me for nine years, and is still a favorite.

 

I bought my first doll in 2008, I still have him and he has mostly looked the same all these years

 

Asher, my Elfdoll Red, is my oldest, and he came to me in February of 2007, so he's almost 6 1/2 years old. He looks pretty much the same as he always has, except his resin has mellowed (I actually prefer it this way) and I'm trying a shorter wig on him that I got a month ago (still not sure what I think of it). I'm never planning on changing him too much. Maybe a wig style change here and there, but nothing too drastic.

My second oldest doll is Benjamin, my CP Ttori, and he's only three weeks younger than Asher. He's yellowed, too, but I don't mind. I haven't changed his style much, either. He had a brief phase when he had straight copper hair, but I quickly went back to the poofy auburn one he's worn ever since.

Also, I forgot all about my Angel Fantasy Lily, who was ordered by her first owner in August of 2006, and she got her in October of that year (her arrival and first life are pretty well-documented in the Lily thread, fortunately). I'm her third owner, but she didn't come to me until January 2008. So I guess she's technically oldest?

 

My Dollmore Hwi ki is about five years old now.. Even she is really yellow, I still love her to bits. I could never sell her.

 

My oldest doll is a Dollzone Mo and I got him in 2010. He's basically 3 years old but I got him second hand so he's older than that

 

My oldest BJD would be somewhere between 4 and 5 years old now. She is a D.I.M bellosse.

 

Our oldest is a unoss from 2002. I love her creamy color.

 

My oldest doll was a MiniFee Dark Soo Elf from 2008 I think, she was from the Fairyland event, not from "a la carte". The only thing I still have from her is the head...

 

Leah's only eight months old, but my boy on layaway is around six.

 

Matt will be 3 years old in November. He did borrow temp clothes from a friend of mine until I was able to get his own clothes. I do plan on getting him a different wig and eyes, but other than that he really hasn't changed. He has the same great personality as the day he arrived in the mail. I love him to bits and I don't think that love will ever deminish.

 

Our oldest doll is Naomi, a Volks Jun Tachibana. She is about 9 years old although we received her 5 years ago. Our first doll, Marie, we received back in 2007 and she is a Volks Kun fresh from the box so she is about 6 years old.

I suppose there is a little bit of yellowing for each of them, but I don't really care or notice. Naomi/Jun, is still in her default outfit although with the Kun wig and the Jun outfit seems to be her default outfit although she sometimes gets changed into a nice kimono or cosplays as Suiseiseki during Halloween. Marie/Kun is switches between two lolita outfits but is pretty much the same.

Over time, they've become more sentimental. I could never imagine selling them, and would probably run into our burning house to save them if I had to. Will be interesting to see how this sentiment will or will not change once we have kids.

 

My oldest is almost 6 years old, he was made in December 2007. I'm not his first owner though, and he was not my first doll. My first doll is from 2008, so I guess she's 5 years old now. I don't really notice any yellowing on either of them, although I'm sure there is.

 

My oldest doll was second hand, I think from 2005 I still love all my dolls!

 

My oldest doll is the first BJD I ever bought, she is a Fairy Adel from Elfdoll, a tiny, and her name is Esme. I am her first and only guardian, and I bought her in 2005. That would make her eight years old.

 

I have had my first doll for almost 8 years now, though the oldest-made doll I own would be an old discontinued Volks FCS. I can't date her for sure but she's got to be at least 10!

 

My first doll came to me way back in 2006. She's a Orientdoll So. She arrived one week before my 60cm Obitsu.

I buy a lot of my dolls second hand. I think the oldest one made would have to be my SoulKid Marion. From what I can tell she was made pre-2005 when Souldoll only made 1/4 scale dolls as limited. She still has her original face-up but her skin tone has turned to a buttery yellow.

 

6, I think... I got Lillith (DM Suntan Asha) in 2007.

Not sure if Tristan (Luts Elf Chiwoo) is older than her since I got him secondhand and I forget what the seller told me.

 

My oldest BJD is my AIL Aya bought in december 2010.
I love all my dolls like the first day!! (...especially because I think my choices are thoughtful...)

 

My Volks Dark Prince Michael is the oldest doll I have. The one I have had longest is my Bobobie Tony who I got in 2007.

 

My oldest is my Secretdoll Yomo who I bought new eight years ago. She was my first BJD and I still love her just as much as the day she arrived. Her face up has changed and her clothes are much nicer now but she's still the same person.
