Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Ummm... That must be cool if a doll which looks like me, exists. :D I will get her definitely and I will find wig, eyes, etc to make her look like me more.

      But if there was such a doll, I think I wouldn't buy her because she wouldn't make me dream... there wouldn't be any fantasy...

I actually have come across a couple sculpts that I thought looked like me when I was a kid, Lati Yellow Coco and Souldoll Ahee, and I had originally planned on getting them but it just never happened. I don't know that I'll ever get either of them now but I thought it would be fun to dress them the same way I did when I was little--which would be awful 80's and early 90's clothes, Punky Brewster style, Cosby sweaters, and itchy polyester velvet dresses. Haha...

    9. I wouldn´t like it. For me BJDs are great because you can realize your dreams through them. With a doll which looks like a human... well I don´t think my imaginations would work on them :?

    11. Haha, it just so happens that I've already found a doll that looks like me! And I'm... perfectly okay with that, actually! I do like her quite a bit, and would totally buy her if it wasn't for two things: 1. Not enough money right now, and 2. She's an SD, and I don't have enough room for one atm. Oh well. Into the wishlist with you! ...Hope that didn't sound too narcissistic of me... :sweat

      Actually, I find a LOT of dolls that look not like me, but like one of my cousins. Those I can't bring myself to think to buy. I like my cousin and all, but I don't know. One thing is, say, me making a mini stylized version of myself for fun, another is feeling like I'm intruding on someone else's image.

    12. Haha, I am a vain creature so I would probs buy it. I would feel a bit too narcissistic getting a minimee or sculpting one myself, but if I found it by chance I'd be all over that.

      Probs not going to happen, though. I have a pretty weird face. :U

    19. I had my dolls compared to me before and I always found it a bit silly because it implied I was so self-centered I bought them on purpose, lol. D: Depending on how it happened that a doll looked like me I would react suitably. I wouldn't get one though since I prefer myself as a human. :P
