  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. that'll be kinda creepy looking at myself 24/7 xD the interesting thing about it is i can try new hairstyle and face-up on the doll and different styles. but i would not get a doll that look like me

    2. I would be a little creeped out, but in the end I'd get her (only with a smaller chest).
      I would dress her in all the things I wish I could wear and probably buy tons of wigs and shoes for her.

    5. I'd buy her scale art supplies, copy a few of my favorite outfits, and tell her all my secrets. Then I'd leave her home a lot because Xavier is the one that gets out.

      Somewhere out there is an off topic Kim the artist when I gave some AA dolls to a little mommy who was so delighted she named one after me. Since I make fan dolls I wouldn't mind if someone made a doll of me.

    6. If a doll looked so eerily similar that it was undeniably my little twin, I would, yes, be slightly creeped out (at first) and then purchase the doll anyway. Why not? It would be interesting to experiment with different looks (such as clothing and wigs) without altering my own appearance.

    7. For me, I think that if a doll had my features, but does not look just like me, I would buy it. Like, for example, tan skin. I happen to like tan skin too, and I'm also tan, so I would buy a doll like that. If a doll looked just like me, I would be slightly surprised, but I bet my mom would buy that one so she could tease me all the time. >.< I wouldn't even have to think about whether I would buy it or not. HAHAHA

    8. I have rather large round blue eyes that are similar to a BJD doll, especially when I wear make up. Many people say my eyes are my best feature, so it's not like I am imagining my eyes looking good on a doll xD; I have already found dolls that look a bit similar to my eyes and facial structure. I even considered buying them. I don't consider having a doll that looks like me strange. I remember some doll lines as a child that would make dolls that looked just like you. So it's not really a new concept to me.

    10. My first thought was 'insulted,' because then people would just take a likeness specifically based on a part of me and do whatever they wanted with it but then I argued myself down too 'vague dislike' because it isn't the buyer's fault. Just whoever would do that.

      If it was a /likeness/ though, not based on me at all then no problem. Also if someone were to ask and pay me or something before using my face, then sure whatever still not too appealing but they asked.

    15. There are a couple of dolls out there that actually do look very much like a younger me. I like them and I'm planning on getting one of them maybe. Doesn't bother me at all the idea of a minime so long as it's me in my 20's and not me as I am now. I don't look horrible now but I was definitely better looking in my 20's than I am now. Age and chronic illness have taken their toll, sigh...

    19. I don't think that would happen, I'm pretty average looking. However, I do think that the souldoll apple looks a bit like me when I was a kid and find myself strangely drawn to her. I'm thinking it might be more nostalgia than anything else though.
