If I were a Doll Creator!

I would go for more variation in height. Iplehouse's EID, SID, and YID are all pretty close to each other in height, which I was surprised by when I looked at them side to side. I would love bodies for tiny women (like me) who are 4'10 to 5'2 that have the same mature ratios as the SD dolls. Also flat chests for women would be my other creation as some women just don't have the glamor chests.

 

I would love to create dolls! I would definitely go for more anthro styles. I like the idea of more variety in the half animal or half monster dolls. I'm actually really interested in more armor sets for dolls also, haha. Thats totally a personal preference tho.
Aside from being interested in Fantasy dolls, I'm surprised how very little there is for Sci-fi dolls besides customs, or maybe I'm not finding them well. Android dolls!!

 

BARA DOLLS. big guts on the guy dolls, enough of the slender abs, lets see some actual chub on these guys and gals. chubby faces, and beyond just "extra curvey" chubby necks, chubby upper arms, thighs touching, small boobs for fat dolls, tall fat dolls, pudgy hands for dolls.
thick muscular dolls too. we all know about the titan doll but hes still very lean fit, or the dehydrated fit, id like to make dolls with just plain more fat. thin dolls are great and i love them so much but i would like some chubby dolls. more anthro dolls as well, maybe a silent hill esque doll in there thatd be neato

 

Hmmm... I'd make mostly msds, and try and make then Unique with some special look, the girls should be very curvy, with large breasts and large hips and average waist
I might make some fantasy Dolls as well. ^^
But I haven't really thought much about it yet. n_n

Personally I am already planning on a line of dolls while I work on polishing my sculpting skills. The only thing I can say to sum their design up is... they're really.... really long. Not just tall and lean but long. Long arms, long legs, long torsos, long necks, long faces... And they each come with additional paraphernalia which is what makes them even more unique in my opinion.

 

If I could I'd want to be able to sculpt a more mature MSD-size man. I need some older men - ones that can pass for a wizard or a Santa. I may just try one anyways, and make it to fit on an existing body.

 

I'd love to make wider dolls too! But I'm currently working on a doll, and bigger size with the same feet size makes them very hard to balance! /o\

I'd also like more difference in ethnicities. Even the tan dolls tend to have the same features, wider noses/lips/jaws would be nice too. Basically, anything that isn't slender looking, for a change, bodies and faces wise.

 

I agree. Definitely more true ethnic features. I'd want to create dolls that step out of the "normal" box. So no pretty for pretty's sake type of dolls and no Barbie doll figures.

 

Horses, Unicorns, Pegasi with interchangeable manes and tailes! Also more Anthropomorphic dolls. I'm not a fan of any current ones out there for my personal taste..

I would definitly have the knees that fairyland makes..they are close to natural as you can get right now.
rounded joints with a gear like inside piece fo poseing.
eyelids that can open and close.
realistic wings that attach to the body securly.
the soft little nipples that nobility doll makes so the doll isnt so hard all the time...even silicone penises ..the resin ones just seem so..stiff...unreal...I guess its because I see my dolls as actually having little souls so I just want them to be more comfortable in their lives...weird I know but thats how I feel about them.

I would also make some chibbier dolls, especially the younger ones since kids usually have some puppy fat :P

 

I would like to make more aggressive looking dollies. Maybe something with metal additions like horns, spikes, etc.

 

Chubbier dolls - more child dolls in the 45-55 cm range and also 30-40 cm (kids are NOT all the same height, even more so than adults) - older-looking sculpts for the BODIES - there are a few heads meant to be older, plus one can always do a faceup to make a doll look older, but there aren't really too many bodies that look older (those DollChateau really skinny ones can look like an old person). My dolls are SD adults so I'm not interested at all in mature minis,

 

I like the direction Silein is talking about. It would be awesome to see metal spikes and horns. If I was more artistically inclined, I'd love to create a cyborg-type with actual metal parts. My shaky art skills aside, I'm not sure how resin would work with metal though. I would love to try it if I just had more artistic talent.

I'd also attempt a sphinx, maybe a naga or two. I'd definitely take a stab at a cecaelia: half human, half octopus; a mermaid/merman with tentacles instead of a fish tail.

I'd also try and create stronger female faces-- more striking and bold, unconventionally beautiful. Pair them up with muscular bodies. Warrior women, like Amazons.

There's so many paths I would love to explore. I just wish I had the talent to go with my imagination.

 

Mature dolls in all sizes, no kiddies. I would offer a full variety of bust sizes, with much more attention to smaller ones. Not everyone wants balloons on their doll; I know I sure don't. And I would sculpt detailed genitalia on both male and female.

I like dolls more geared towards adults, like the Angel Philia dolls. So strong sexuality is something I would enjoy, especially with all of the racy clothing and naughty accessories.

I don't care for chubby/bigger dolls, but I do like wide hips. So my dolls would have some killer curves.

And more toned/muscular female bodies! I LOVE Classy Doll's T body, so sexy and toned while still keeping femininity perfectly intact.

Also...MERMAIDS...we need more mermaids...and other cool fantasy stuff, incorporating a lot of transparent resin.

 

My boyfriend said he would help me if I decided to start making my own dolls and I've really been thinking about it! I think I would mostly make cute chubby little fauns with adorable pigly looking noses. Not actually pig noses but, those noses that are super turned up. I love noses like that! It is a little tiring seeing pretty much the same nose over and over. I like noses a little too much. I think they can be the cutest feature on a person! I want more noses.

 

Are button noses what you're thinking of?
It is nice when companies vary the noses, and I've been trying to add more variety to my own doll sculpts as well. What's funny, I just recently did a hooked nose that turned out to be waaay better for the character than I would've thought, especially since I've never pictured him with anything other than a straight, slopped, or "bump" nose, so that was an interesting discovery. It did take me a while to get used to it, though, because it was also the first hooked nose I used for anything. xD

 

I would loooove to make some beautiful girly boy dolls with pear shaped hips. The pear shaped trend is so popular for girl dolls, but you never see it on boy dolls. I'm aware it's unusual for boys to have large hips at all (and there's already a lot of people calling for more manly dolls), but I've always loved large hips and I'd love a boy doll with such an exaggerated figure.

I'd also love to make my own anthro rat. A lot of the anthro rat and mouse dolls out there just don't appeal to me. Either they don't look very mouse like at all (Angel Dolls Milo, Pet Ari Bobo) or they're quite... ugly. Like they take the rat features too far and make a doll that looks quite troll-like. I'd love a pretty rat doll of my own, something similar to Tarte Au Citron's Okaeri.

For me it would be a range of child bodies in SD size. I struggle to find a range of non-mature bodies for my child SD-size heads. There are some out there but not many, and that doesn't allow for much variety of height and/or build among my resin children.
