1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

If not Alice In Wonderland, what story would you like to see sculpts for?

Aug 5, 2014

    1. Have you seen the Bishounen House Sandman on Deviantart?

I'm doing Harry Dresden cosplay for my dolls. That might make a cool series of dolls too. It would involve a lot of body types and shapes, though.

    2. Tim Burton. That'll be awesome.

    3. Any fairy tales or folk tales and mythology from all over the world. Welsh myths (Mabinogion), and Irish, etc. Japanese kitsune and kappa, etc. Greek myths, creatures like dryads and satyrs, sphynx, harpies, medusa, cyclops--and the more typical gods and heroes.

Hobbit and Lord of the Rings and other Tolkien characters and monsters.

Dungeons and Dragons... monsters and characters. (Drow!)

      Neil Gaiman's Sandman series.

      Sookie Stackhouse/ True Blood.

      Narnia.

    4. I love it. I would also want all 7 Endless dolls.

    5. As a big ballet fan, I would love to see more Swan Lake inspired sets. The Firebird would make for some beautiful costumes too. I'd also like to see just more fairytales in general, it seems that Little Red Riding Hood is a pretty common one but I'd like to see more.

I would buy the heck out of a Dresden Files series of dolls too!

    6. I'd love to see Rose Red and Snow White or Eros and Psyche as far as fairytales go.

In general though I'd love to see some more historical themes like Cold War spies and spacemen or Marco Polo's adventures. :XD:

    7. I would adore a line of dolls or clothes were Jane Austin novel inspired. I am a huge sucker for literature and full dresses, and to have a doll company do something historical with romantic undertones would thrill me greatly!

    8. I would love to see different gods and goddesses from around the world. Like Amaterasu, Iris, Quetzalcoatl, and Ganesha. There would be so many different things someone can do.

I would also love any other mythological creatures.

    9. I think it might be fun if someone designs a collection based on the zodiac signs. It's a well recognized theme and would still allow plenty of creativity and interpretation.

    10. Please..... BJDs of ancient Egyptian Gods, Pharaohs and their Great Royal Wives. I would sell my soul to Ammit the Devourer in exchange for a doll that looked like the famous Nefertiti sculpture by Thutmose in the Berlin museum. If anyone anywhere knows how to sculpt a realistic doll version of her, I would be so happy to buy it.

    11. I would love to see Sailor Moon SD's come out!

    12. ufff not know where to start ....
      - I love all the classic stories: Grimm, Andersen, Perrault, Samaniego, etc
      - Myths and legends: Nordic (a Valkyrie :D), Greece, Rome, Ireland, Native American,
      - The Spanish nineteenth century tales: Becquer, Fernan Caballero, Larra, The Duke of Rivas

but, my favorite, as always, are Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and Becquer Rhymes and Legends (though the rhymes do not come beside the point here, but they are so beautiful :love)

    13. Arabian Nights dolls could be interesting, especially since there are so many characters:  Djinn, sorcerers of both sexes, heroes and dancing girls and even mer-people!  (Plus, I have a serious weakness for harem pants.)

    14. I have to say Coraline, Either the original novel by Neil Gaiman or the movie. I think that a set based on that would be amazing. But that was my favorite book/movie in high school so it has a special place for me.
Or Into the Woods. I think those dolls would be interesting. I loved that book in high school too.

    15. The TV show "Vikings." And LOTR of course.

    16. As I've shared with a new friend recently: Peter Pan would rock my world.

    17. I'd like to see le petit prince & Peter pan would be awesome

    18. -LOTR of course :D
-I'd also love to see some official Sailor Moon bjds in any size range (the playline dolls sold years back were never pretty enough in my opinion, but I still collected them because hey, it's Sailor Moon)
-Harry Potter, because the tonner dolls are okay but I'd love to see some more detailed sculpts/faceups for those characters

    19. Harry potter!! I'd love to have the golden trio on my shelf in their gryffindor outfits!!

    20. I know next to nothing about ballet, but I have the music for "Dance of the Firebird" on a CD, and I love it. A doll version of that could be awesome. And I love the idea of classic Japanese monster dolls. Tengu, kitsune, Azuki Arai and so on. I may just try to make the last myself out of clay...
