If you could only have one BJD...

If I had to choose only one doll, it would have to be my Tasha (AE Coral). I've become very attached to her over the years. She has the standard default face-up and she's certainly not as fabulous or breath-taking as other dolls but I've had her for five or six years and I love her to pieces ^^ She's just so sweet

 

It would have to be Mariana, my second Bambicrony Emily. Her specifically, because she came with both the open and closed eyed version of heads. While both currently have their own bodies, for the purposes of this question I'd count them both as Mariana and that way I'd be able to keep Ina too, even if it's just as an extra head. D:



I'd be really sad about the rest of my dolls though. XP

 

This is an easy one for me to answer! It's my very first bjd - an Iplehouse Stella and she is on her way to me now. Can't wait! I will be changing her name and giving her a back story (but at this point I haven't quite figured out what it will be).

 

My Dollshe Rosen on a dollstown body, he is perfect for me.
He is my endless inspiration and I keep customizing him.
I really want some company for him, but I can't find another heartfelt doll.
So he is the one.

 

Such a tough decision! I think if I could only save one it would have to be my Volks F-32, Valentine. She was my grail & I looked for her forever before finding her second hand on Mandrake.


I would seriously mourn my other dolls though

 

Oh, if I should have just one, with no price limit, I'll go for Volks Luna!
She had long been my grail doll, and no, I still haven't got the money yet!

All my other dolls are basically just to substitute for her absence.

 

I'm new and only have one doll, but if I could have any doll I might have to go for an Iplehouse Yur. I love their mature beautiful dolls...

 

Great question! I would have to go with my Pukifee Mio. She's just so darn adorable!

 

If you could only have one BJD in the whole world what would it be?

This has become a difficult one for me. I am torn between my Grail doll, Dollshe's Bermann, Or my Dreaming Abadon.

What brought you to this amazing resin grory?

Seeing how gorgeous these dolls are.

If you would customize this beauty how so would you?

Well the Bermann, I would love to get a lovely face up and body blushing. The Abadon, I would go all out and get some scars on his body.

 

I have so many dolls I love so much but my Volks Kun is the one I would keep forever if I could only have one...

 

That would be a really hard choice for me since I have never had only one doll at any given time. XD

 

Only one? That's a tough decision, but I would have to go with Mariya, my Volks Kun. She's my first doll and I will never get tired of her cute little face. Plus she loves frilly dresses and can never have enough of them so I'll be able to sew for her endlessly. My other dolls seem to be pretty satisfied with a couple signature outfits but not Mariya.

 

I would have to pick my Souji who is a Dollclans Kien. He's basically my only doll anyway, my other one being a head that doesn't match the skin of the same body yet (they would share the body). And I may or may not ever get that finished.

 

If there was only one doll I could ever have, I would probably pick Iplehouse Roger. His sculpt is so amazing to me. 3

This is really a tough question. I definitely couldn't just willingly pare down to only one, since I most enjoy my dolls in pairs and groups, but if it were a case of "you can only save one in a fire" (and my cat's safety was guaranteed at that point), I'd probably go for my MNF Shiwoo, Ed, since he's a customizing project I've had planned since 2009, and actively worked on since the start of this year... anyone else, I could repurchase and reshell their character, wig, etc, somehow (even the limiteds), but because of the amount of customization that's been done and is to be done, he's become irreplaceable.

 

I am a new collector..started this year...now I have 9 bjds! But if I had to pick only one to keep, it would be my FL Littlefee Mio full set, as she was my first. I even had her sent to meet me at a hotel while I was travelling. lol.. I was so thrilled to have her!... and as much as I love ALL the others, she is my # 1.

 

Well, if I could only have one doll, I would be a kid delf Bory ;u;

He's so gorgeus! haha, and I'd like to customize him as a XIX child, dressed with victorian outfits. He would have green eyes, red hair... and freckles! >u<

 

Aaaaaargh! Only one doll out of my entire crew? That is too horrible to contemplate. I mean, there are some I love so much that I have TWO of them! Muuuuuuhh! It would be a lot easier to imagine the one doll I could part with without it breaking my heart XD.

Well, if I could save only one from a fire - and just thinking about it sends shivers down my spine - I would have to take Gwalchmei, a Dollzone Scarecrow Hal with kamarza face-up and my very first doll:

He's not my most beautfiful doll, not my rarest nor my most expensive. He's simply my first, the one responsible for my doll adventures, and - well, he is allround adorable and it would feel like a huge betrayal to choose anyone else. I'm going to do like Snow now and hug all the other dollies I just condemned to perishing in a fire .
