1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

If your family member asks for your BJD, what do you do?

    1. My mum really likes my dolls too, so I bought her a smaller one (I have mostly MSDs so I got her a YoSD sized one) and she loved it... I don't think you should give away your own one to her though, especially if you're worried about the doll not being cared for properly.

    2. If anything, my parents would probably dismiss dolls as a waste of money. I think it's cool you and your mom are both interested in the hobby. Maybe show her pictures of other dolls to ask her if she likes other ones better c: that way you won't feel the need to give up Izzy.

    3. I'd tell them that they would have to get their own! I would help them out as much as possible. I would supply them with all the information they would possible need and give them links to company websites so that they can find a doll that suits their tastes. I would even go as far as buying one as a gift. However, my dolls won't ever leave my side. I love them far too much.

    4. If my mom were still alive I would give it to her in a second or buy her one just like it if I couldn't let it go. My mom passed before I ever got into bjd's but I know she would love them. Most likely I would buy them a starter bjd as a gift but it would really depend on who asked for it lol My daughter I would give it to but she would never ask because she thinks they're creepy. My granddaughters are too young to give them to so it really would depend on the person. But most likely if they wanted it bad enough I would buy them one similar.
