Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023.     1. There we go! A bit later than I'd planned, but I took the photos. I'm not sure about the rules for photos in discussion threads, so here are four photos. Different angles so you can get a better idea of how the 14mm eyes look in Zhu Qing's head. I hope this helps!

      My doll is Illusion Spirit Meilin. Anyone knows which shoes are the best for her?
      For example, I've tried Dollmore MSD shoes and the were big for her, but for example Leeke World MSD type is perfect. Have anyone had an experience with other companies?

    6. He wears a 7/8 over a silicone wig cap from Dollmore. It makes his head the perfect size to fit the wig, plus it keeps it on beautifully.

      Yeah, when I got him he came with a free MSD wig. It covered his whole face it was so big on him. XD

    7. All right! That sounds like it'll work just fine. :3 (if I can't find a wig cap, I can always use velcro or a hot glue "ridge" to help keep it on.

      Dark Princess: He really is. (: Zhu Qing's the first boy I got, and he definitely does his gender proud! :D I bought mine during their summer event--didn't expect to get him in so soon, but it's a refreshing surprise. I love him so much--even if he doesn't have a wig yet!

    12. Hello! I was wondering if anyone still checks this thread :-P My doll is a tan Illusion Spirit Muka. I was wondering if anyone else had one? I've been looking, but I haven't seen any other owners yet :o For the 1/3 dolls, does anyone know what size wig fits the boys best? I have a DF Lingyu with a size 9 wig that I tried on my Muka, but it was so loose! I was going to order a few wigs for him, so I wanted to try to find the best size first :s thanks~

      **I found his head to be a decent amount smaller, which was a small surprise :o

    13. Wakey: Have you looked to see if there's an IS thread for the larger dolls? Since this is the Mini thread, I think everybody here either owns or is looking at/talking about their 1/4 dolls. :sweat

      That said, though: have you tried a wig cap? Or the velcro trick? (OR, even, putting a "ledge/ridge" of hot glue on the back of his headcap? It seems like all IS's heads are just a liiittle smaller than the other dollies'. :lol: So usually just adding a little something "else" like that works. :3

      And beyond that: Kahn is here, and has hair (but really needs pants! :XD: )! So here he is, my lovely (handsome!) ZhuQing boy~

    14. lol yeah, I figured as much. I'm still decently new with the operations of the DOA site, so I had some minor issues finding anything IS related :sweat But thanks! Haven't thought of the hot glue trick. Maybe I'll give it a try :-)

    17. My ZhuQing arrived on Tuesday and he's... just wow and amazing.
      He's the second doll I ordered, but first to arrive and I'm just so totally happy with him.
      There are some tiny things about his face-up that I'm not completly satisfied with and will adjust once I dare to lay hand on him ;)

      He is, however, as many have said before, rather tightly strung, so this weekend I'll try to work on that issue. If necessary I'll also search for a hotglue tutorial and if that isn't enough, I guess I'll also have to look into this sueding... :3

    18. Congratulations, Snowy! Zhu Qing is a beautiful sculpt. Illusion Spirit seems to string all the dolls super tightly. I think everyone's had that problem. XD

    19. Hi everyone~! My first doll is going to be a ZhuQing, and I'm getting him Christmas morning. >u< I'm very excited! Hearing that he's tightly strung worries me a bit though, because I'm a bit scared of restringing, ffffff. But anyways, his name is Abel Jeremiah Lux, and I'm planning to make angel wings for him. &#9829;

    20. I honestly haven't found that Sarojin (ZhuQing) was strung super tight. But a lot of that may be personal preference, too. I will say that he stood straight out of the box and the texture of his resin and colour (I got him in grey) is just wonderful.

      And restringing isn't all that hard. I think working up the courage to do it is harder *laughs*.
