    1. It seems it also has the MGB's thigh joints? (Best thigh joints in my crew, BTW). While I love how the chest was sculpted a lot more naturally than before, I am still at two minds about the shrugging shoulders. There's a reason why I had the perma-shrug on my newer MGB fixed by a modder, haha.

    2. I don't have one but I'm turned off by the shrugging shoulders aesthetic. I also find the thigh mobility far more useful than the bicep joint (which I hate) and I'm a bit bummed that they changed the Model body to remove the thigh joint, went single jointed knees and kept the bicep joint.

    3. that's. . . a huge step backward :horror: I hate the bicep joint, it's so fugly! If they wanted more mobility in that area the 2 part (4 part?) elbow joint that LoongSoul has on their newest big boy body (probably on other bodies as well, but I just have the 73cm boy) gives great additional mobility without the freaky broken arm look

    4. Yeah, it was a surprise when I got Malachite to find those changes as Impl never said boo about the changes anywhere that I'm aware of. Kulfi has the old body with the thigh joints and double knees as does the 2nd Ziv (wrong colour again; I gave him to a friend for her b'day). Malachite was received about 5 months after the 2nd Ziv for timing context purposes.

      I mean, Malachite stands very solidly and to be fair, I don't use the thigh joint very much (including with other companies that also have a thigh joint) but it is handy to have in certain situations. The bicep joint? Utterly useless with the possible exception of one of Mkhai's arms but he is also a Miguel the Demon Hunter and has a bunch of horns/bone spurs in that area so it makes a tiny bit of sense for him for that specific arm.

    14. So my crew underwent major changes, with bodies being moved around to accommodate heads both new and old. My old MGB (that is still admittedly the best-posing female body in the crew) got reassigned to another character, who uses an Iplehouse Grace as a headsculpt.

      Purchase the new body, and get the Imara head and all four sets of hands free. That's a full 62 cm doll, plus 3 sets of optional hands, for $280. For a 62 cm BJD, that is a bargain.
      The promotion runs through the second week of July, and applies if you order from Impldoll directly. In the comments of their latest IG post, they said that they offer layaway.

    17. The hands are gorgeous! I like the body except for the shrug thing and the very prominent nipples. She looks a bit too much like Sicily for me, but it is tempting. It's a very good deal.

    20. Legit I just did it, I copy pasted the form in the head event post here, filled it out, put my requests for the order, and they did it super fast. They used PayPal and sent me an invoice for payment.
