Paging @Eyezofeden - yo, buddy! You've got the most Impldoll heads right now. Help @Yumeko-chan out?
My buddy is also very good at measuring, so no guilt in pinging them, lol...

 

I specifically need the measurement from the vertex to the eye for Azalea. I dunno if it's consistent among all the heads or not.

 

I unfortunately don’t have an Azalea. I only have Eudora and Aurora on hand at the moment.

Looks like Impldoll nuked all their older sculpts. At least they're no longer available on AC it seems.

 

Damn. They've been listed as sold out on Impldoll's website for a little while now, but I was really hoping I could still get Alberta.

 

Oof. I'm glad I ordered Nicolas' head when I did! I would be so bummed to miss out on him. Sad about Garza though.

 

I've been considering getting Kamara and I was wondering if anyone has this head and knows what their proportions are like? The head looks really nice on its default body but I prefer standard sd13 girls (58cm) and I'm afraid such a body might be too small. And if so, then is the default Impldoll body slim enough to fit most standard sd13 tops, or is it too large (e.g. in breasts and shoulders and long arms?). I'd appreciate any help

 

Well Impldoll heads are generally 21cm circumference and the neck hole is 9cm which is generally the challenging part. They also have really wide shoulders so I'm a little nervous about an sd13 body really doing well with that. Something you could investigate tho is getting a Supiadoll body for the head, their double joint body I've heard good things about and it's 60cm tall with a nice wide neck. The resin match between Impldoll's normal pink and rose pink is really good too The bodies they come with generally fit into 1/3rd boy clothing, custom stuff, and iplehouse SID girl clothes much better. Feel free to message me with more questions too btw

 

I can't help you at all with an answer but just wanted to add that I also think Kamara is a really appealing sculpt and I'd love one on the Star Model body. I hope you can sort out something that will work for you.

Yes I own the model body and the MGB body. The model body is assembled and the mgb body is unassembled bc I'm getting tattoos on parts of it, but I have taken a bunch of measurements of it. I love my model body so much tbh it's a wonderful poser

 

Impl’s new dolls have smaller heads than their older ones. I no longer have a Kamara, but I have a Zona on the very small Dollmore glamour Eve body here

I would expect her to fit on a lot of sd13 bodies in this case!

 

@Haven_Of_Dolls336 do you have the supia body you mentioned and are you able to see if it's similar in measurements/proportions? (especially the shoulder width so that the head wouldn't look bubble-headed)

I'm hoping to buy a ballerina body in the near future, so I could swap it around eventually... But that would take a while I'm afraid.

 

@Haven_Of_Dolls336 oh, I see. Well thank you anyway for your help I figured that since the price is attractive as is, I should be fine with just the default body - it has 100% resin match and proportions compatibility already

 

Hey, sorry, wasn't paying a whole lot of attention.
Impldoll heads are on the smaller side, but have a really BIG neck base. What body comparisons are you looking for? I've got an SD13 body, a DFA 58 cm body, a Supia first body (the floppy fish body), and hmm... who else is around that size? Iplehouse SID?

Tl;dr: only body that did NOT work was Iplehouse nYID body. So - Iplehouse heads with Impldoll bodies? OK. Impldoll heads with Iplehouse bodies? Nope.

I think Imara has found her body, since Iplehouse Doria stole hers. (Sorry, Elsie!) Resin is a nice match, which is a pleasant surprise. Body is circa 2021, so no guarantees that it would match today.

Iplehouse nYID (peach gold resin) is a no-go:


Finally, my hybrid trump card. My BJD ace-in-the-hole. The Angel of Dream 58 cm body. I have yet to put a single head on this body and dislike it. Will today be that day?

NOPE. Tiny neck gap only noticeable if you stare hard at the side (easy to conceal with wig).
