Hmm if their new boy will be 75cm, i wonder if they'll release it in multiple sizes like they've said they would with some of the girl bodies, at least in instagram comment replies when someone asks xD I'd love more 65ish cm boy options personally!

 

@Thymeseer Irvin has been on my wishlist for a hot minute. If they do a 75cm body, hopefully he will fit it.

 

I ordered the 1/3 female body. I gather it comes with the head, but I don't care for that head as much as some others. Really liked the look of it and ordered it in real skin, so that maybe it would suit one of my more yellow heads.

 

If they do new heads for the new male body, I'll be destroyed. I'm "putting the band together" and was holding off on getting a bigger biggun because they're just so...meaty. It's bad enough trying to find Massimo clothes. Maybe the new 75 body will fit grand senior delf stuff.

 

I assume it will fit Idealian 75 clothes. But we will see.

 

I come bearing bad news.
The jerk who shall not be named who makes dolls that cannot be named has gotten his grubby little hands on Imara, Kamara, and Sicily. I am livid.
I also know that when this happens, doll companies tend to discontinue doll lines. So I rushed to email ACBJD, who already responded, "They said they won't discontinue the 63cm model body in a short period."

This still makes me nervous. I don't know what "short period" means. And they did NOT say that they wouldn't discontinue the line - it sounds like they aren't planning to discontinue it right now.

I was planning to wait until this fall to buy another 63-cm Star Model body, and I really want Kamara. I think I am going to have to bump up my timeline, because it feels like Alberta's discontinuance happened rather suddenly, and I missed out on her.

I recommend that anyone thinking of getting the new 63-cm body consider doing the same.

Editing to add: please let's not talk about he-who-does-not-deserved-to-be-named or banned dolls. I do not wish to incur the wrath of the mods.

 

I didn't realize *he* got both Sicily and Kamara too but yeah I'm pissed. My Sicily is my fave in my collection and I love Imara and I love the model body. It's upsetting to me that a wonderful company that has been great at keeping low prices is now suddenly being recast. That's a new low to me, and frankly that's unacceptable.

 

I really hope they won't discontinue them because of this They're so pretty and the new basic body just came out and they haven't released the revamp of the muscular girl yet either! I hope they'll still do that. I've been waiting to see what she looks like before deciding what body to get for a head I'm waiting on T_T

 

DF-H is discontinuing their 1/5 body for the same reason. When these happen, they don't come back. Even though I was planning not to buy until fall, I have to make an exception for this.
I am thinking that more companies are going to go the Dream Valley/Dollzone route - release a limited line, re-release it once more, and then no more. Which sucks, cuz FOMO is real.

 

I hope if they do discontinue them, they'll post an announcement first i can't swing for the body right now but could in summer. I did see that they shared the bjdawareness post about it on instagram and have gotten support from people on it

 

I just recently traded my Imara head for some clothes but I'm actually gunna re-buy her in their pink skin (I originally got her in real skin) The character didn't work out but I still love the sculpt and I 100% support Impldoll.

So my plans have changed, getting an Imara in pink skin next week hopefully.

 

I've been debating getting Imara for the character I'm already waiting on a head for, but told myself i need to wait until the head gets here to decide if I can make it work, but now I feel like when/ if I do get the body, I should just get a full Imara doll regardless. But then I'd still end up with a floating head...

 

I have a Mila that needs a body so I'll have to get the new body sooner and maybe a Vilma or Kamara as a gf for a Devotion doll head I bought, haven't completely decided.

 

As much as I do love Imara, I ended up buying Nalani instead because the thought of a cute pink-haired goth girl was too good to pass up. Either way, Impldoll is getting my money and my total support.

 

Welp, I engaged in a little retail therapy after an intensely infuriating, frustrating week, and ordered the new 62-cm body via ACBJD. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Impldoll is offering their promotion via ACBJD. I thought it applied only if you ordered from Impldoll directly. I ordered in peach gold resin. Fingers crossed that my Iplehouse Mari is a close match.

However, you do have to pay for shipping if you order through ACBJD. I figured this was coming, since Impldoll ships directly to the customer (and not to ACBJD first). It was astonishingly reasonable, though, for a large doll from China to the US. I was expecting it to cost me a lot more.

So now I'm getting a gift Vilma head. Here's hoping I don't fall in love with it. (I have very low hopes for this.) I traded my friend for a Eudora head, and I am absolutely enthralled with the blank sculpt.

 

I hope you don't mind me asking, but when you says you spoke to them directly did you email them? I was thinking of asking if there's a timeframe for the new muscular girl body since they said coming soon back in December for her, and the head i'm interested n her for shipped already but I'm not sure where is best to ask

 

The instant messaging on Impldoll's website is Facebook messenger, I think? I've had no luck contacting them that way.
I've had the quickest response messaging directly via Instagram for general questions.
For questions about my order, I find emailing them is best.

She previously had this thong leotard...sorta...thing on under her shorts that that would slide to one side instead of staying centered. So I changed that up tonight. M wife came in the room while I was doing it and we got to talking. I was like uh yeah they always have a little slit down below. I unbuttoned her shorts...BOOM like a barbie doll lol. I looked on the website and the only pic that doesn't have the crotch covered shows a smooth crotch. Definitely a first as far as bjds go for me lol.

Surely I'm not the only one who didn't notice this right away? I've had her for 6 months or so lol.
