Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Sometimes it's not just the diameter of the hole but the depth of the hole as well.

      I had this recently with Akash who is a MD Snake Demon head on a Qingyi Angell Studio body. The head hole/neck circumference was a perfect match. However the head sat juuuuust a little bit high on the neck making it look a touch off. I had his head hole modded a little bit deeper and Bam! perfect fit. I recall seeing somewhere once that someone had a head with a rather deep head hole and it looked like the head was swallowing the neck.

      Ahhh the joys of hybrids.

      I'm so torn. I'm going to order either Lanny or Ransom, but need to decide by tonight. He's just supposed to be a pretty boy himbo and member of the court in my fantasy setting, so I'm leaning towards Ransom (elf ears!!), but I've always liked Lanny (I think I could definitely pull off a clueless-but-cute look easily).

      EDIT,: I went for Ransom! I will probably pick up Lanny next year, because he's GORGEOUS.

    11. oh no he's even more stunning then i originally thought part of me was hoping he wouldn't look as good as the promo pictures so i wouldn't be so tempted but you have sealed my fate i must absolutely buy him!
      if you ever end up with a ransom i'd love to see him as well his jaw is A++ lol

    17. I just spent hours trying on wigs and eyes on the gift head Impl sent me with the 2nd Ziv. I think I have his eyes settled. They're "soft glass" light green eyes that I got with a 2nd hand doll purchase. They seem to glow, which is very cool. No idea on the maker though. Wigs... He's def not a blonde. He's not a fan of bangs either (to be honest, neither am I). He likes 2 wigs out of literally the dozen + I tried on him. Technically he liked 3 but the third wig belongs to someone else and he doesn't want to give it up.

      Is it just me and wig trying fatigue or do Impl boys of the 65/70cm size have kinda big noggins compared to other BJD's? Mkhai (Miguel the Demon Hunter) doesn't seem to have as big a head as this still nameless dude. Granted there's literally a decade between them as far as creation dates but am I seeing things?

    18. You're not imagining things! On average I think the largest Impldoll male heads are 23 cm circumference vs. 21 cm for many other company's 70cm bodies. And some doll companies make the 70+ cm dolls pin-headed... if I am remembering right my Xun Yu from Ringdoll is quite a bit less than 21cm.

    19. I'll def need to measure his head if I decide to go crazy and order him a wig. One of the 8/9 wigs I have by Iple wouldn't even go on his head. Not sure I'm going to order him a wig when he doesn't have a body (yet), a name or even any idea who the heck he is. That can wait though as it's a bit of a pain to go dig his head out of where it's currently stored.
