  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Volks always makes my wallet cry. Like, every single time. But I just can't resist their dolls since they really fall under my tastes. :(

      Soom is also kinda expensive thought they also offer good dollies.

    3. Volks, only because I keep seeing very high priced Volks dolls on the marketplace.
      I'm pretty glad I don't like Volks heads that much (I do like some, but not enough to need to own them, thankfully), but I own a couple of their bodies and those already aren't cheap.
      But they were nothing compared to those 2000+ dolls.

      A lot of limited or full-set dolls are too pricy for me though. I am not willing to pay 2 or 3 times the price of a regular doll just cause they included a dress I don't need anyways.
      It's sad cause I just fell in love with a certain limited doll but she is well over twice the price of a similar doll her size, and so no way, I am not paying that much just cause I want the head alone... ><

    4. There is a lot of companies that makes dolls out of my price range, but as expensive companies I would suggest Volks and Soom.

      Rosen Lied's tinies,
      Fairyland MNFs (and all FLs, actually...)

      Fortunately, I fell out of love with those :D

      It surprises me though that everyone says Soom and Volks, considering how cheaply you can buy them second hand these days :)

    8. The most expensive doll I own is from Volks followed by Soom. Though Soom at least offers layaway and you can also get the doll without all the extras and a face-up. So, I guess my vote goes to Volks.

    9. I think that Volks dolls are quite expensive but the quality of the resin is just super nice. Most of my dolls are from volks except for my big boy who is a Little Monica sculpt. Other than Volks i think that Soom can be pretty pricey too.

    12. Most expensive- for me would be Immortality of Soul and DollClans :...(:...( Majority of their dolls mirrors my character, but I haven't saved enough to get a head from them.

    13. I don't think it's fair to base how expensive/inexpensive a doll is on the second-hand market prices as those can and do vary widely. So I'm not taking second-hand market prices into account, in my opinion (having done some quick research on the price of a basic, standard doll in both SD and MSD sizes from each company) the most expensive would have to be IpleHouse with Fairyland coming in as a close second.
      But I only compared a few very well-known companies so this is probably not very accurate.

    14. The most expensive I own is Volks, but I would say Fairyland is "more expensive" simply because there are far too many MNFs on my wishlist so that company hits my wallet more... :sweat

    15. Iplehouse is by far the most expensive company in my opinion. Not because their dolls cost the most, though they don't come cheap. I've seen plenty of dolls, especially artist and limited edition dolls that were more expensive. However, Iplehouse can't put out a doll I don't want. The only two things that have saved me at all are the fact my husband is getting a bit edgy about how many dolls I've gotten in a year and a half and the fact that I really like to stay MSD or smaller. Their big dolls make me actually feel a bit of envy for those who have them. Lol, I want all of their big dolls in a small size.

    16. To me, Dollshe craft is the most expensive, especially after their price hikes. With how expensive Dollshe has become I could never justify buying one even if I like it (sorry, fashion line David Kuncci! It's not meant to be:().

      The most expensive dolls I own probably come from Ringdoll (though Dollmore is a close second). Ringdoll also contributes the most to my doll collections (with six of them:whee:), so they are definitely the most expensive for me.

I would say Volks... and maybe Rosen Lied (?) because RL dolls are always out of stock for their sets >_> I have not looked at the other companies but I have also own Fairyland dolls...So far, the most expensive doll I own is from Volks (sdc fullset) then from fairyland (littlefee fullset)

    19. Among the dolls I would like to own, Popovy sisters' are the most expensive for me. Then Iplehouse's Limited BJDs with full set. Luckily, I have enough BJDs to keep me sewing for a couple of years and I am not 100% sold on the bodies. They are marvellous to look at but sewing for them would require skills I don't have yet.
