1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Iplehouse Discussion (YID, nYID, SID, EID, HID) Part 13

    1. Points are used as a little discount coupon for your next purchase after what you order is delivered. You earn them through making purchases and can use them like cash. I think 100 dollars spent = 1 dollar worth of points.

    2. @Sophiasyddall - yes like @TatterPunk - just said about Points. Next time you check out you will see an area where you use points you've earned. You don't have to use them right away...you can let them add up a bit.
I'm not sure if or when they expire though. It seems like they stay on record for awhile. :pcupcake

While I'm here...I'll post a snap of one of my girls...:XD:

    3. I took a group photo of the ladies, including my hybrid Iplehouse Scarlet, for Women's Day. :D Her companions are an Iplehouse Violet (standing), a hybrid SartoriaJ Yvonne (her left), and a Momo Studio Lulu (an artist doll, to her right).

    4. Beautiful group shot!

Love the black and white pic of Isis above too and Olga's pretty "bobble" sweater :)

    5. Is it hard to make your own clothes for your doll?

    6. Hi, I’m new to the thread, as I just received my secondhand Iplehouse Camilla on the nSID body this past week. This weekend I will restring and suede her, and if needed I will wire her too. She’s a little floppy but I don’t mind.

I can hardly wait to paint her! She’s absolutely beautiful and my first Iplehouse

    7. I love her, thank you again for letting me take her off your hands :)

Now the fun begins, the customizing!

    8. omg that wig is glorious! Where is it from?

I can't wait to see what you do with her!

    9. Thanks! I may have to get that one. Does it fit on her well? I know all the smart doll size ones I've gotten from DallasDollCo have fit nicely on my Vanessa, but that's actually just two so far lol.

    10. It fits on her pretty well, a little tight but it can be squeezed onto the noggin! I’m so glad too, it can be such a pain to find wigs like this.

    11. @IzabethS Congratulations on getting her! I think I've seen her on the MP, and it's awesome she's found a new home. <3

@EmeraldPixie Ohhhh Stella's one of those Iplehouse sculpts I enjoy seeing from afar, even if I've given up on owning one because I've already found good shells for my characters. That's the Harace set from Carved Heritage she's wearing, is that right?

With regards to sewing, I have also stuck to sewing my dolls' clothes (mostly!) owing to how difficult it is to find premade clothing that I wanted, at least those that fit in with their measurements. :sweat For clothes that require a good fit, I personally hold off on making patterns unless I have the doll's body first. That is, unless the premade pattern I am using was already made on the exact body type of the doll.

I've already had a bad experience about using measurements from a company's website, and the actual measurements ended up being a bit different. :sigh There are also some measurements that are difficult to obtain without measuring the doll's body (e.g. the height from the widest part of the bust to the narrowest part of the waist), so simply scaling down human-sized clothing patterns may not always work.

    12. This thread has had a lot of lovely photos of a lot of beautiful girls of late. Which I enjoy as mostly I own male dolls from IH and most of the females from IH in the house are my S.O.'s. Though I do own technically 5 IH female dolls, though one is a transman and doesn't count as one of the girls outside of noting mold/body.
All of that aside though I think we should show some of our Iplehouse guys some love here, so have photo of Draven looking a little more manly (though not much XD) then his last photo in this thread.

    13. Such lovely dolls here!!!

Since Stella was mentioned, I have an older custom
nYID peach Stella to share - she’s wearing a silk dupioni
      gown ca.1795 (Poldark)
Her fellow is EID peach Arvid. His outfit also ca.1795

    14. Ah Stella is always lovely. Yes we should share the male dolls too...I must take some new photos. I only have two large IH males and they have had no photos for a long time.

Kali got a new pic taken because she received a new wig...

    15. @EmeraldPixie your Stella is gorgeous!

@LyanneNZ wow, Wendy looks great! And thank you, I managed to paint my girl this last weekend, even if she fought me bitterly every step of the way (chips, scratches, etc...). Also Kali is beautiful, the wig suits her perfectly!

@AntarelNefertili thanks! I had been watching her listing for several months before I decided to take the plunge. I am happy with her, but I do need to restring her badly

      @Tippetarius he's gorgeous, I love his skincolor

@Robyn_in_WA they are both beautiful and stunningly dressed!

Now for a picture of my Camilla (named Ursa) painted:
She was a huge pain in the butt to paint, but in the end I like how she turned out.
