I don’t recall where I’d found that rose floral fabric, but having found
it in my stash, I used it for a couple of gowns. Not often do I find a
print that works in scale with the dolls.

Here is a Regency gown that I made for my HIDw - I only wish the silk
satin ribbon that I had for the waist had been a 9mm rather than 6mm.

They released SID David now.

I was hoping they would do a HID sale with the extra option to buy another head like they did with the other sizes. Anyone know if they are going to do that (maybe after David’s sale period) or people who wanted/ waited for HID sale are out of luck?

 

@PowerAndWeakness - Me too! I was hoping for a HID with extra head option too! I'm holding out hope...sigh.

 

I am so glad I can finally get a David, he's just super perfect for one of my characters.
Little bummed he wasn't out for the SID head sale, I'd of loved a extra head for him.

 

David is quite lovely. Nice to see they got rid of the military theme. Definitely not the time or place for that.

@luluna thanks! He is such a very rare sculpt but I do love him a lot! Especially his nose.

I’m a useless owner that could only take pics of my dolls lol I don’t do faceup, don’t sew clothes, don’t make wig neither. Btw his faceup was done by talented 6anli on Insta.

 

@Khlovera No you are not at all useless...your art IS your photography. It is a talent to be able to portray them in such a lifelike way. I love seeing your photos! Congratulations on your new prince!

I would have jumped on a YID event, but I just ordered SID David with custom lips color.
