Hello, Finally got my doll, The wigs I have are all frizzly and not straight. How do I go about straightening it, with a comb of some sort?

 

The Iplehouse wigs? Are they the synthetic ones or faux fur?

 

Yes Iplehouse wigs. I am not sure what the hair is made out of it doesn't say on the product pages.

Ik this isn't helpful but thanks for asking this. I've been searching for resources for keeping my iplehouse wig nice and it's driving me crazy that I can't figure the hair type out either. My guess would be that it's synthetic because the hair feels similar to cosplay wigs and those are typically synthetic.
For reference I have this wig in peach gold:

That sucks. Yeah it seems like it is synthetic the hair. I heard that people use hot water and a comb to straighten the hair but I got a feeling the comb size and type matters depending on the hair if it is wavy, curly etc. but the people that recommended I am pretty sure don't have Iplehouse dolls and I never specified the material of hair. So probably worth waiting for someone who has successfully combed hair to give the right advice.

 

When I said synthetic hair I should have clarified that it's higher end synthetic hair. I still need to be brave and plunge into washing my wig to try to calm down the frizzies, but the style is still beautiful. I just don't want to ruin the curls I have ig.

 

Oh those are synthetic! You can just brush them with a regular wig comb and if they don't want to behave you can probably get away with heating them lightly with a hair dryer or straightener.

I would just spray a bit of water on the wig first and hen use the wig comb.

Hello, Does anyone have an Iplehouse HID woman and a soom Idealian 75 male that they can take pictures side by side for comparison?

I’m looking into the HID woman for an OC but I want to make sure she will look right with her partner that is a Soom Idealian 75 male.

 

I love that red sweater. Her gold jewelry is so striking with that color, did you make them as well?

 

@PowerAndWeakness This combo is not exactly what you asked, but in this photo, the guy is a Granado Noah on their 75Adagio body (comparable in height to Soom Idealian 75 iirc) and my Iplehouse Scarlet hybrid is on the Impldoll Starwoman MGB (her total height is around 65cm, hence comparable to HID women). She's actually balancing on her heeled feet as she's leaning against him, so she may be 66cm when the image was taken.
