Hi there! I don't actually have an iplehouse doll but I wish I had bought an EID Camilla. Is there anyone here who has this gorgeous girl? I wish I could see some pictures

just in case, does anyone knows which body options can fit a SID male head?
Idk whether Luts SSDF is a nice fit bc of the neck circunf issue. Anyway, thank you so much in advance

Where as I have a lot of SID model boys, but I have never tried their heads on different bodies. I have an EID female head, and a nYID boy head both SID model bodies, but ordered them that way before IH stopped letting you do that. It's actually kind of self surprising that I have never tried any of my SID guys on different bodies. So I'm sorry I'm not actually able to be of more help.

 

I have one, but she's on the nSID body instead. I love how gorgeous she is too. Let me post an older pic of her

I'm thinking of ordering S.I.D Zera and, since they have the add extra head event going on, adding Wendy or Isabel head. Does anyone know if Iplehouse normal and Dollshe oriental are a good match? I could order the Dollshe 26F body for Wendy/Isabel. I've seen some comparison photos online and Iplehouse normal seems pinker, but if anyone has personal experience that would be nice.

Also, which S.I.D body do you guys prefer, the og or new? This would be my first time owning an Iplehouse doll.

 

Sadly, I cannot help with the color matching because I don't have any Dollshe resin to compare. The only big Iple female bod in my collection is the nSID. While aesthetically speaking I prefer the older one, the nSID poses considerably better than my two JIDs (an old-type female and a muscle boy, all bodies with the thigh mobility joints). The nSID's ankles actually have functional ball-and-sockets and her arm joints are quite easy to engage, both of which are such a huge improvements when posing, imo.

@melomelo Before ordering a Dollshe body you should read the Dollshe waiting room. I ordered a Diana over three years ago and I have no idea when I will get her!

Edit: Dollstown uses the same resin and I have a DT17 body in oriental flesh with Iplehouse NS hands that the prior owner used because she liked them better than the Dollstown hands.

Regardless of my question, I'd love to see your IH collection. I have 2 and I absolutely love this company. Ah! I teste my SID Felix head on a migidoll body and it worked suprisingly satisfactory. I mean... It's still a 12cm neck hole on a more or less 10,5cm neck circunf but it worked. Especially if you used a long wig or a turtleneck shirt or even a coat.

Hmm, I usually go for the more aesthetically pleasing option (since I'm super bad at posing dolls anyway, lol) but if you think the nSID has better arm engagement that's probably the body I should choose. Btw, your Scarlet is gorgeous!

I'm on the same boat! Still waiting for my Diana three years later. It took 4 years last time for my Aramis to arrive but he was in the mango oriental resin so I kinda expected it. Too bad I really like the 26F body...

I had recently gotten an elf head from thr Marketplace, and decided
to pair it with one of my older, modded Iplehouse SID bodies. I know
it’s not a popular thought, but I still adore these SID bodies - everything
I put on them seems to look wonderful.

I’ve just made this velvet gown for my ‘new’ gal with some tweaks
which, thankfully, worked out. Now that my shop closed, I feel that I
have time to experiment again.

Here is my ‘new’ elf gal on her 2012 Iplehouse SID body in normal resin.
I had modded the upper part of the neck years ago.

 

@Robyn_in_WA she is very beautiful doll. I have old sid body in ns and nsid in special real skin and I love them both.

 

Thank you @Anita2006 !! I do so like this SID body!! I’ve got an nSID as well and
like it too - except for the knees. The ankles on the nSID and the HID certainly are
preferable to the original ankles, but… That original SID body is just SO pretty.

I have been told that the more recent Dollshe “oriental” resin has a LOT more pink tone to it than
the older versions did. I have an older Dollstown17 oriental body with Iplehouse HID NS hands
on it - and they do indeed match quite perfectly - BUT - this older body was not the pinker resin
that is apparently being used currently. Dollstown dolls are indeed cast by the Dollshe company.

 

@Robyn_in_WA She is a real beauty. Gorgeous dress and you can totally count me in for the older version of the SID body. I love it. The new model one? hmm, not so much.

I like the old SID body, though never owned it myself (just enjoy dolls owned by friends with it) I love the nSID bodies and live for them. All 3 of my SID girls are on the new model body, and I am a bit afraid to count all my nSID guys. XD

 

@Bren with the way Sartoriaj and Iplehouse are limiting options these days, one better buy while available. The original small bust SID girl is a dream to design for. Everything looks great on her.
