@susieagent99 - I think she is flat footed...but I can't remember for sure.

The reason I'm asking is, because I was planning on getting a EID man, and just found out that the EID man is too tall for the inside of my display cabinet, and I have my dolls standing. (my husband teases me saying, with the EID being the only man in the house, he should be sitting on a throne with all the ladies around him) boys!
I have my Iple EID Carina in flats, and I am looking for a Iple man to be slightly taller than her. That EID man is just too tall.

I don't think unless you want the SID guy to wear like tall shoes that's going to happen since both the SID guy and the EID woman are listed at 65cm.

 

Yeah - but doll companies have a habit of listing a doll as a certain height, but it's not really that height.
For example, Dikadoll "65" cm is more like 63 cm. EID is more like... 63.5 cm, and HID is more like 64 cm. Only Impldoll 65 cm is truly 65 cm:

Oh, no apologies needed. Trust and believe I was a salty collector when I got my Dikadoll. You wouldn't think 2 cm would make such a big difference - but it does to me.
I'm keeping her because I am incapable of letting anything go, but I won't be purchasing any more of their dolls.

 

Can I order clothes for 75cm dolls on Etsy for a HID man?

 

You need to watch out who you order them from. I did place an order from a vendor and when I tried the long sleeves shirts on my HID, they would not fit tho they had shown them on a HID doll on the listing. Fit more my EID. It made no sense to me and the only conclusion I came upon why they were not fitting, was that some of the sellers may be using Recast HID dolls and reason why the outfit would not fit my legit HID. Their doll are smaller.

 

I do not currently own a HID, I haven't even started saving up for it But I love the idea of having a giant of a human. A part of me feel like going for an EID when the time comes because at least that would be easier to buy clothes for. But 75+ dolls are becoming more common so finding clothes should not be that hard, I hope.

But that sucks not getting what were advertized! I guess ordering will be a hit and miss thing.

 

Yes. That is what it seems. But them it's like that with wigs and eyes.

I love Iple's big guys. They are hefty tho, but you won't be sorry. Which one do you have your eye on?

I had some real bad luck, which made me unable for some reason to access Iplehouse's site although I were not banned or blocked from the site. I contacted Iplehouse and they said they had not blocked me and they could access my account just fine. But for some reason for a whole year I could not access Iplehouse's site, I even got a new IP and contacted my internet vendor, but it were a mystery I could not solve. I cried, I felt like I lost something really important to me when I lost access I thought it would be a forever thing. I were forced to give up Iplehouse and move in a new direction with Luts. But my heart will always belong with Iplehouse

But then a few months ago suddenly I had access again! And now my heart is just screaming to get back to Iplehouse. Eventually I will take back out the few Iplehouse dolls I own. I stored them away when I lost access because my heart could not take looking at them. They reminded me about what I lost...

But now that I can access the Iplehouse site again I have my eyes on Falcon. But, my biggest fear is losing access again, I have no idea why that happened I feel like I have to do my best to save up fast, what happened earlier scared me...

I"m sorry to hear that you were locked out like that. That would be horrible. Iple will always have my heart. I love their dolls and Falcon is one of my favorite of their HID.



I would keep their email on hand in case, heaven forbid, it happens again. You can always make manual payments to them if you ever do have a layaway once a order has been place and email them, tho they are not as good at responding as when you write them on the site.

Keeping fingers crossed that you will never lose access again.

ps. I was just thinking. If you have windows, perhaps it was an update that mess you up. I've had problems with windows updates screwing things for me.

 

That's a beautiful skin tone on him I want mine in ebony skin because he's supposed to be based on one of my Sims 4 OCs. Unfortunately I lost my chance at getting Taregan, I wanted him because he's closest to what my OC look like. But Falcon look pretty cool too

I will order with a custom faceup, I just have to figure out how I want him. But yes, I should save Iplehouse's email just in case. And maybe what you said is what happened. At least I hope that were the case because rather something else that I can't explain.

I have never done a layaway before actually, I always took the time to save up XD But I can ask Iplehouse about it. There's just one thing I got to focus on first, and that is the livingroom need a new sofa.

You can always get layaways when they are doing HID Limited editions, but unfortunately, they don't thru the doll choice. And you will have to go thru that if you want Falcon in Ebony. They also don't always do ebony just certain times, I believe. So you got to keep an eye out for it. At least that's my understanding.

I bet he will be beautiful. I find Falcon a sculpt that no matter what I find handsome.

 

He's handsome no matter the skin tone I will save up whatever I can meanwhile I wait for the ebony skin to be available.

I just had a look and if possible I want Carved Heritage Falcon B type faceup, and RexSpecial Force IP beard.


I'm a little bit freaked out though, seeing so many sculpts in the doll choice option no longer is there. And it makes me worry if Falcon eventually will face the same fate!

I think I'll ask Iplehouse about Falcon just to be on the safe side , so I don't have to worry if can't order for a while.

 

~15 layers of sealant later, my spare Scarlet head finally has the warpaint-esque faceup I wanted her to have. The tricky part was actually the resin matching (headsculpt was an older, more yellowed batch of PG). Took me a while to realize I ought to cancel out the yellow with purple instead of using even more pinks that make her look like a sunburnt lobster.

She's actually wearing a SartoriaJ top in the photo, albeit in tandem with some arm warmers from Dollmore.
