1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Iplehouse Discussion (YID, nYID, SID, EID, HID) Part 13

Sep 8, 2021

    1. This is going to sound bizarre but I found using thinner elastic for my nSID girl helped a lot

This girl has successfully been restrung. It took me 4 attempts - string too long, string too short, then she was perfect but I couldn't get the knot small enough to get it through the neck into the head, so I ended up leaving it in the chest.

One thing I just couldn't properly figure out is the criss-cross action Iplehouse have going on in the crotch area - if I crisscrossed the string there, I couldn't pull it up enough from the legs to tighten them later, because the string gets stuck where it is crossed and the legs still dangle. I ended up leaving the strings uncrossed and just threaded them straight through the legs. I assume this makes the locking mechanism in the hip joint weaker, but for now the legs are more stable than they used to be. If this way doesn't end up working I'll redo the stringing again (when the blisters on my hands have healed).

Is it just me or is the Iplehouse hip engineering not foolproof? :mwahaha

Thank you all for the encouragement!

    3. Yeah you can basically just ignore that part and honestly even with the mobility thigh, the legs (and overall posability) is definitely not my favorite and I have the nSID which I admit is nowhere near as bad as some of the older bodies.

    4. Hi everyone,
It’s been awhile since I posted. Is Iplehouse reducing its offerings? I noticed the shoe choices weren’t as varied as before. I need sandals and they aren’t offering the white ones. Are they downsizing?

    5. Shoes tend to disappear and reappear with time as long as I can tell. I think around Christmas Iplehouse had a huge variety of shoes. So I'm afraid you might have to wait.
Unfortunately, the clothes for SIDs are getting fewer...:( I'm still beating myself for not getting a few of their gorgeous dresses...

    6. @Kurichan Thanks, I’ll pounce at Christmas. I keep thinking I’m going to sell fab clothes. I never seem to let them go, LOL.
