Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I can't do pics and I suck at descriptions... so on my last 'custom' face I wrote on the Q/A board for help. I gave them my 'mangled' description... asked how to clarify it and they sent back to me a best way to word it. (they nailed it both in words AND finished product lol) Send in your description and ask if anything need clarification from you and check if it is simple or complex (forget what names they use for the 2 types)... Technically all but one of my dolls have customs... and ya you can pretty much ask for anything as long as they have an artist that can render it lol.

      as for "asking for a doll in her likeness" they won't sculpt one for you if that's what you mean..... all they can do is 'makeup'... that being said you could send in a pic of her and put w/e makeup she has in a picture on DEXTER if you wanted... I am not sure they can make any doll look like her by make up alone...

    3. I am in no position to 'mock' lol if you had seen my make up request you'd understand why ... I often try to say something and just really do not get it worded well at all :sweat

      you are also very new to the board so I don't assume what you may or may not know.... always ere on the side of caution... explain it all and cover all bases ^^

    4. You can send in a photo of anyone you want (it will probably work best if the gender matches that of the doll), and they'll do their best to replicate the look. It will be their *interpretation*, not a one-to-one comparison, but they'll do their best. A photo or drawing combined with a written description often works best.

      You can also look through all the face-ups for limited dolls and choose any one of them for a "custom" look.

      For example, I ordered my Light Brown Ashanti with Iple's makeup A from the limited release of Stella: http://iplehouse.com/home/data/item/1541901542_l2

      (Saba doesn't have teeth painted because her sculpt doesn't have teeth -- Stella's sculpt does have visible sculpted teeth.)

      So, different skin color, different sculpt, but the same "style" of face-up. And I couldn't be happier with her!

      (Ignore the fact that her face looks a bit lighter than her body in this photo -- her face is coated with sealant to protect the face-up, her body isn't. Sealed resin and un-sealed resin reflect light a little bit differently, and it's more pronounced on darker resin -- but as you can see here, it doesn't show up in sunlight. Just to be clear that they didn't lighten her brown skin because the original makeup was on a white-resin doll!)

Might as well nab myself a Leonard on this occasion if he gets released hehe. What about you? :)

    15. only a Bliss IF she can get the spare boob set ^^... I need a body for a floating head AND I refuse to pay for a full doll in anything other than a moderate bust size... this is a great way for me to have the different sizes w/o being stuck with them 'permanently' I can 'swap out "cup" sizes lol...' Otherwise I have B's tat torso, Leo's tat arm and E's strong arms... so I can wait on duplicates and dolls w/o special features ^^. Spend it all on outfits and accessories instead... like my weapons haul and Black Cyan set for Edan due tomorrow or Friday ;p

    16. I was looking at the first re-release of CH Bliss and she didn't have the extra small breast option. I bet she won't have it this time either.:pout: And I wonder if they'll have outfits available that don't show "sold out" (like Edan's outfit)

    18. I had my first SID picked out, but now I think I'll get a CH instead as long as they're available. I'm thinking Harace. I also kind of want Lawrence too. I'll have to see what I can earn by the time the rerelease ends.

      Iplehouse does about one Themed Collection every year or two, right? I was reading the wiki and it looks like they skipped a couple years in there then went on a schedule. I'm only asking because I wonder if some of their "coming soon" clothing items are hinting at a new Theme.

    19. As far as my recall goes, I think Iplehouse nearly always has a theme going on. First was Noctarcana Circus, then Elemental Guardians, then The Addiction, and now Carved Heritage is in the beginning stages of its second year. In between there have been other, less-extensive themes: the Western theme, Opera specials and the Special forces come to mind.

      When clothing or other items show "Coming Soon" on Iplehouse, it generally means it's temporarily sold out and expected in stock again in the future.
