    7. Thank you very much, Robyn, and my goodness your Caroline is breathtaking :aheartbea Her dress and her lingerie are beautiful, and that wig is fantastic. What a hairdo. You make your Eva really special :)

    8. Thanks SO much @Gamma Ray !!! Caroline’s dress is silk tafetta and
her lingerie is Swiss batiste with French cotton laces. Her wig is an
artisan made angora on a stretch wig cap.
One of these days I need to make Caroline (and Demelza) a Regency
gown for the later books! Less excited to work up Ross and Dwight’s
Regency clothing tho so that’s why I’ve not started that project!

    9. Greetings Eva owners...

@Gamma Ray Your Eva is a cutie indeed, I love her overalls!
@luluna I can't tell you enough how stunningly gorgeous your Eva is!
@Robyn_in_WA You're so talented! your Caroline looks so beautiful in that dress and the lingerie, I really love the dress.
Do you make the pattern yourself? I'm not good at sewing at all but I'd love to be able to make something like that for my Eva.
And the underskirt looks amazing with all the laces and pintucks, well done!

Here's a pic of my Eva, her name is Edith...

    10. @dollfan - Thank you! I plead guilty to having more than one Eva...she is just so lovely and versatile. Your Eva, Edith, is just totally awesome! She has a wonderful faceup...did you do it? I also love the way she is posed as she looks so real and natural! :)

@Robyn_in_WA - Your girl is stunning as is her dress. I love it in that pretty blue. Just beautiful!

@The Raven - Love your Pamela...you don't see her very often yet she is a wonderful sculpt! And Douglas is even more rare, I believe! It's nice to see them together.

      While I'm here...:XD:
Extending the Eva love...one of my other Evas is this girl I call Ryleigh. She has a faceup by Lyn Raftis.

    11. Your Eva is so cute! And thank you! Yeah, I got Douglas right before they discontinued him I believe. He was the first sculpt I fell in love with after discovering Iplehouse. Then when they released Pamela I had to have her too. :love She has a custom faceup which is a combo of the two they released her with, plus eyebrows to match her wigs.

    12. Thank you, @dollfan about my Eva :) I just think the overalls are so cute, and I'm so glad I picked them up for her.

And dollfan and @luluna those are a couple of lovely Evas! dollfan, your Edith is absolutely divine. She looks so mature and sophisticated. I love her outfit, too. luluna, your Ryleigh is a total sweetheart :fangirl: I totally adore her blushing cheeks :aheartbea

This recent Eva love fest is so wonderful :daisy I may only have one Eva, but here's another photo of mine. She has Iplehouse's B type faceup from back around 2014. I took this photo in the summer of 2016 after I got Iplehouse's swimsuits they released back then, and I thought it brought out her soft, sweet side, showing her face in the setting sun. If you want to see the full photoshoot, check out this link. The first part of the shoot was taken earlier in the day when she was wearing a different swimsuit. Eva - Iplehouse Swimwear 2016

    13. Thank you @dollfan !! Your Edith is lovely - Eva is such a wonderful sculpt!
Yes, I made that pattern myself - it was based on a people pattern which I scaled/
modified. it took several toiles before I got the snug fit properly adjusted. I have
also scaled the pattern for a couple of other bodies since. Caroline has two
petticoats for this outfit - the inner one is a simpler version of the other. And she
has a separate, also fancy, chemise that goes on first. Love these fashions but
would sure not like to wear all those layers myself!

Thank you @luluna !!! That tafetta was named “sea salt” - not that I think that
blue looks much like salt to me. But the tafetta is SO yummy for these dolls!
Your Rayleigh is *stunning*!!! Lyn did such incredible work….

Just for fun - her is my Eva (who became Caroline after repainting) with her
original Iplehouse face paint. This is an Edwardian lingerie set that I’d made
more recently - also fine Swiss batiste and French cotton laces. There are
two petticoats here as well - and the corset cover separate.

    14. Here she is again! Your older faceup Eva is so beautiful. Just a really, really beautiful photo :daisy

    15. Thank you Luluna, no I wish I could do face up myself, its Iplehouse face up, I asked them for Yur type b face up on her. I do love Eva sculpt, actually thinking about getting another from time to time haha

Very beautiful work, amazing, I love historical clothing...and where do you find such tiny laces, they're exquisite!
Do you sell patterns by any chance and if you do would you recommend them for beginner?

    16. Thank you!
I have a Douglas head and his Scar head version too. So, I share your enthusiasm. You rarely see him anymore or Pamela for that matter. I also have a Pamela or two.:XD: One has the Iple faceup and the other is artist painted. I love them both!

I love seeing the old Iplehouse sculpts!<3

    17. Beautiful Evas here :) Love your photo of Edith @dollfan

@Robyn_in_WA Your outfits are so beautiful. I have recently met and become friends with a lady here who loves the heirloom sewing and the fine cottons and laces and must show her your work. She's not a doll person per se but she loves all kinds of crafts :)

      Love Ryleigh and Erin @luluna

The overalls are super cute @Gamma Ray

    18. Thank you @Gamma Ray ! Eva’s such a lovely sculpt - it’s hard to take a bad photo of her!

Thank you @dollfan !! I bought many of my French cotton laces from our SewExpo - there
was a great dealer who would come from France every year. The other place I used was
MarthaPullen’s website - I bought a LOT from there - sadly she sold her shop and i’s gone now.

No, I don’t sell any of the patterns that I’ve made. There are a couple of good pattern
makers that I’ve used - they also have great instructions.
      Welcome to gracefaerie designs!

For heirloom sewing (pintucks, lace insertions/edgings) my best suggestion would be
to try to find a class. There are books available on heirloom sewing but it’s pretty intricate
and may be best learned in person? And you’ll want to get some high quality fine cotton
batiste too - using those techniques on quilting cotton won’t work well at all….
      Hope that helps! :)

THANK YOU @LyanneNZ !!!! If you wanted to share more images of my work with
your friend, I did keep my Gallery from my (now closed) website - periodthreads.com -
and it has more of my heirloom garments too! Thanks!!!
