Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I heard that this magician EID Chase is a 'Cloudy ...?' Skin Version.

      These Iple's limited skin color is fantastic.... I wish I had one gray or misty skin doll, and I love those colors. My wallets in danger, though I tried keep it from Iples EIDs!

    2. I've been waiting for this guy for months (since last April), practically living in anticipation for his release these past three weeks. And when they put up the preview for the body the mouth had me squealing and I was so certain the only thing that would ruin it for me is large googly eyes, because the whole face shape was one-for-one for a character of mine...

      But that eye-shape ruins. everything. It's stylized like the type of anime I can't stand and uggghhhh... I feel so incredibly disappointed and silly right now. This is what I get for building up my expectations too high. :( I'll be waiting for more pics to see if it's only the face-up, but if he's elven or some other of the same sort it basically seals the fact that I won't be buying him.

      Oh well, I guess my wallet is safer - I'll just have to wait for standard release and plop an Evan head on it, as previously planned.

      Also, YEAH Luna is stylized. Might not be as apparent when you look only at her and get used to her features, but have a look at the Luna-Jessica comparison. Giant stylized googly eyes, tiny chin.

    3. Iplehouse is in my brain! XD First they put Luna in a red wig with blue eyes in that plaid outfit so she looks way too much like the character I want to get her for...and now they turn the second (dark resin) Chase head to the exact same angle as Blackthorn's head is in the last drawing I made of him...and give him blue eyes. *dies*
      ...and while the odd resin colours are pretty, I would want him in Iplehouse's 'normal' white skin. ^^;;; I am just guessing that since he is shown in light as well as dark resin, there is a good chance of him being released as a standard...since the reason Kamau has not been release was the fact they didn't think he would look good in their normal resins?
      But yeah, thank you for reading my mind again and making him look like Blackthorn, Iplehouse. XDDD

      As to the discussion about Luna...I agree she is stylised, but that works perfectly for me--the character I want her for is a just-grown-up-out-of-teenage girl, who still has her cute baby-fat face even though her body has become more muscular and adult. I admit I don't like the faceups on the standard, though, especially the NS one...if I had seen those first I probably wouldn't have fallen so hard for the sculpt for Sunset. The base sculpt is the same, though, and I do my own faceups...so yeah.

    6. He is absolutely hot! :drool He could go wicked or intense depending on what face up one gave him. I definitely see the Sephiroth resemblance.

      He's a bit like a more smiley version of my beloved Volks #2 Goh Guy head which I've wanted in a BJD since I got into them.

      If he comes with two heads in WS there will be trouble.

    11. Oh, he is a handsome devil! :love: What beautiful, even, regal features he has. Their choice of wig does make him look extra-elvin, there. Or a really good Sephiroth. ^^ He is much finer & narrower than the other 4 big-boned EID faces, for sure. Much more Y.Amano than Superhero.

      But I too am relieved that my heart did not immediately go galumph-galumph galloping after him. I adore that new body, but will wait for True Love above the neck as well as below. <3 Still, I must reserve judgment till after there's more pictures, of course - if he comes in tan resin, that always changes everything! Sculpts can look radically different light or dark, and I'm weak against Iple's tan men.

      The light-colored face does look like it's rose-grey, doesn't it? Same greyness + blushing that showed on Luna's resin pix in their gallery. I am very curious about the dark option now, whether it's tan or grey. And I am intrigued about why Mr Magician comes in two colors (characterwise).

    16. Love the body, but the head doesn't really do it for me. I think it's the lips ;< Disappointing...but that just means I can save up for the body (haha, it's not like I need to be spending money on more dolls atm anyways).
      I will have my evan on a model body >3

    17. Okay I'm not seeing "anime" eyes here.. I must watch different anime than y'all :lol:

      I like his eye shape almond shaped with a touch of droop, very seductive, but there's just something about the overall face shape/length that isn't working for me...

      Which is actually all right, since I REALLY MUST pay off a few things before buying a new doll!

      So he's a little taller that the superhero version. I do like his face, rather a lot. The pillowy lips of the others doesn't do much for me and I do rather like his knowing smirk. ;)
