    1. The more I look at this knowing smirk the more I think " Someone should get this guy in NS, (if he comes out in NS) and maybe a YID Barron, and do some major Evil!Sam and Dean cosplay....:aeyepop::eusa_pray

    2. Don't think the eyes look anime-ish at all. But then there are many styles of anime, from kid stuff to very realistic series. The face is almost a tad androgynous, helped maybe by that beautifully sleek wig they have on the grey (white?) doll.

      I have to mention -- Was looking at the EID model body pix earlier today, since someone posted a link on page 3. I can understand the veins on the arms and forearms, areas that get a lot of exertion stress over time, but what the heck are those short twin stylized veins sitting on the center of his belly? In the minor number of instances when they were visible, I've seen that veinage usually more towards the hips, sometimes pretty asymmetrical and more meandering. (Lol, I called in a clandestine opinion from one of the gay guys at my office, who did agree they were odd on an otherwise "NIICE" body. But that otherwise perfect body also evoked from him a no-extra-charge reminiscence on Some Really Oddly Lopsided Abs That Are Out There-- )

    3. Some peeps have different shaped veins. People have actually asked me why the backs of my hands look like a letter X instead of a K. ^.^ I wouldn't sweat those pretty-yet-stylized abdomen veins; they'll be less pronounced when they actually get him cast anyway (they're extra sharp on the master sculpture). It's those other veins that Aernath inquired about, now, those are still an intrigue. Nyohoho.

      Also cannot wait to see Mr. Magician's clothes. The men's circus outfits have all been so amazing so far; whatever his fullset gear is, it's sure to be a knockout. But if his cape/tuxedo coat (as he surely must wear one or both) is even sexier than Akando's coat & Kamau's burnoose, yoicks! It's clothing-split time....

      not a fan of the face up, but looking at his face...the sculpt...is perfect!

      i'll be saving up for this guy and getting him on standard release when i have the monies.

    5. They look anime-ish because they're triangle-shaped - narrower closer to the nose and widening out; and only the upper eyelid rises, the rest of the eye doesn't follow it. Thus triangles. Some anime have that (personally) aesthetically unpleasant style. Buuut I have a somewhat peculiar taste, and heavy-lidded, tapered-down eyes are my absolute favourite.

      It might also be the face-up - but again, just like with Luna, compare him to the other guys (even Evan, who has a fairly feminine face) and you'll see he's more stylized than the previous guys. I dunno what Iplehouse was going for with these past few dolls, but they don't really look like they're a different build, but a whole different world.

      Well, I'll wait and see what his outfit is and the rest of the photos but it looks like I'll be hanging out waiting for the Ringmaster, and if that fails (for whatever reason), it'll be Evan. I only fear that the Ringmaster will be the last one to be introduced (like in a real circus). According to silhouettes, there are still many dolls to see before the end.

    7. He's so gorgeous. His eye shape is :aheartbea. I love that little smirk he has going. He's a bishie.. Pretty faced male and he does look like a 3D anime character to me. He's very nice. But, unfortunately...:sweat EID's bodies scare me.. Soo.. He won't be coming home to me. I still can't wait to see more of him though!

    8. Wow, the lips are thin, and Iplehouse lips tend to look thinner IRL. D:

      I think it works for the paler version because I can totally see him as a creepy magician in a circus. In the darker tone, it just doesn't have the same oomph that Kamau had when I first saw him, who is a magnificent sculpt.

    9. Not too thrilled with him. The face is nice, but doesn't look right in dark skin. I'm not sure that face will be right for a buff EID body either.

    11. I had asked Iple if they have plans for a Realskin or Brown skin release, also what exact skin color the Magician has, and got an answer:

      It is cream white. And it is different from Iple white (rose white) color.
      For the color which you want, please kindly have to wait until next year.
      In this year, we don't have any more plans to release real skin color.

      Ohh it's so difficult for me now... so it seems they really have plans for Realskin later, that's what I usually wanted. But now I also fell in love with the white skin for an other character *_*

    17. gayle~ Yep, it seems it is :) Perhaps it's got more yellow under-tones than their standard WS, which they have said is RoseWhite. Their standard has pink undertones I beleive. :)
