Oh, I got clobbered with the Gimmee voice the second I saw those lower ab veins... *innocent whistle*
I've been struggling, trying to stick to a decision of selling off some of the Littles in the ranch... but then I get home and see their little faces... and...
So then it's back to "well, it will take them a few months to get the basic version... I can save up by then" Chant of Hope.

Ohhh yes, I know he won't be gracing my household anytime soon. I have to pay off the Lati Aida I just put on layaway and then get a certain irritable dragon his mate, and then a snarky vampire wants a body and an inquisitive elf is certain to find water fae yet...

HOWEVER, I intend to enjoy everyone else's acquisitions in lieu...

 

Weeelll, depending on the rest of his face and the fullset, I may just be bad and buy the whole thing, all in one go. On the first day.

But I'm being careful with those considerations, because I'm building up anticipation and don't want to be disappointed if he's not what I end up wanting. Plus, I already have an incoming Super Gem boy who needs clothes and wigs and eyes and I'm not sure if I'm willing to put his things on hold.

 

I'm about 95% sure I'll be romping in the waiting room pretty soon after he's released. ^^'; Unless he's a funny colour (aka not NS, WS, or one of the tans) I'll be wanting him. Thankfully I passed on buying a pretty expensive head the day before teasers went up and I've been saving up so I can afford him. >3< I don't think I'll be doing layaway, but we'll see!

And I'm so happy I didn't fell in love with Soom's new guy. Still I think they had stopped his release this fast because they saw the new EID (also ID and EID comparsion pictures... omg what simliar names...) and now they work to improve the body design...

Can't wait to see pictures & clothes of EID model boy!!!!! Maybe next week? Maybe right after Luna's sale deadline? I'm so excited!!!

 

Their message said they anticipate he'll be ready next week, and Luna goes off-sale Tuesday, so it's likely we'll at least get pictures by the end of next week.

I've never, ever, ever anticipated a limited as much as I did this one (actually, this is the first time I cared about a limited on its release at all....)

I doubt Soom stopped because of the EID release, though. I mean, they'd have major modifications to do, some people like the other body more. If they wanted to cash in, now is better than later since otherwise more people will buy the EID. Which I personally love. Hips

 

So, real pictures to go up some time next week. I can't wait to see him.

And aernath, did you see that your perfectly reasonable question about the genitals has been removed (unless you did it yourself, in which case you already know and can ignore me)? And another poster has asked that people don't talk about the doll's genitals in that space. I may be a dyed-in-the-wool European, but I find all of that completely baffling. Do you think there are any other parts of the sculpt that we have to pretend aren't there?

 

I'm an American from Utah of ALL places and I find that odd... like resin peen is somehow obscene. I mean if I'm shelling out a 1000 dollars for a doll I think it's fair to know ALL about it and see ALL of it, especially as I have to buy it based on photos and not having a sample in front of me.

I think we should randomly leave ** when talking about the dolls ears from now on

 

Oh yes, ears! Sorry, **! We haven't seen those either, have we? However, I have no concern regarding the Model body ** as they were so well sculpted on the Superheroes that one must imagine that they will be the same on the heads made with the Model body.

Whimper. It's all that I hoped it would be. I'd been wanting an Akando for a character of mine, but the Superhero body was way too much. Now I've got no excuses.

Intrigued by the glimpse of the first head with the thinner lips, though. Going to wait and see what the new heads look like.

The bod's killing me, curiosity is a very draining thing *-* Madammaumau, are you planning on getting one in RS or NS/WS?

 

NS, definitely, Hydra Kitten. I have had it with all the RS aggro, UV protection or no UV protection. I am in no hurry, being utterly bankrupted with incoming dolls at the moment. I am also looking at him for a very particualr char so will hold out until the right head appears. But I will get him. Oh yes!

 

It's great to know, I needed more mental support. I'm waffling between RS or NS, I adore RS and I hate that the NS is much pinker now than it used to (I prefer the previous Iple yellowy skin tone). I should hold out until the right head comes out too but I'm definitely getting that bod one day! Bloody brilliant that it isn't limited.

 

The tests in the Ip data room show that it still fades quite dramatically. And I think it was Twigling did some of her own tests and found that it still greened so, no thanks.

However, this instability of the red pigment in the Ip resin works to our favour as that blancmange pink NS fades quite quickly to a pale peach. However, it might be worth sunning any new NS dolls evenly otherwise they get pale faces and hands and blancmange-coloured bodies. Nice!

 

Saw Twigling's test, its definitely an improvement though, I'm not one to bath my boys in sunlight . Good God, don't tell me the current NSs too? (Though I have to say I'd be happy to get rid of the pink). Why did they get rid of the old yellowy toned NS? I had a NS SooRi before and he was quite stable.

I'm actually kinda hoping this guy would have bigger eyewells like Akando/Evan as I'm partial to Luo's smaller eyewell size. At least that'd buy me more time until the next model EID before I cave .

ETA: On the other hand, if they released this guy in Rose gray later on.....Epic elf/vampire/demon for me.

 

When I asked before about the change in skin tone (because I wanted to try and get a new body for a 2006 head), they said that it was from a lot of different customer's feedback that they made the changes.

But I have a Ryan in NS and he's really not that pink to me. He's almost the same tone as my Unoa, but just a little lighter -which actually made me wonder at one point if they accidentally sent me WS, but I have an Akando in WS and that is different than my Ryan's NS, so...

I guess I'm saying is I think NS's not that pink. ^^;;

 

Hmmm Ip's NS is pinkish huh... well well this has to be investigated for adifferent character that needs a bit of an upgrade...

, I think I should just make IP a monthly payment like my mortgage...
