Iplehouse EID Model type - teaser posted

I wanna see his face already......I just hope that Iplehouse layaway is better, they don't offer layaway fees do they??

 

The head in the teaser pics looks a lot like the Gentle Akando head to me, though I'm pretty sure it's not. Here's to hoping they make a few more smiling faces for their handsome boys!

 

No, they didn't charge me any lay a way fees. I did a 3 month lay a way with them. Just put what I wanted my payment schedule to be in my order info (and again on my paypal receipt). They were really easy to work with, verified receipt of my payment each time by entering the payment receipt info in my original order. He shipped out as soon as he was paid off too. I'm anxious to see his face as well.

 

EEEE!! I'll absolutly wait to see if they show an Akando head on this body!! I just wonder who's head was that in the picture? Can't wait for that!!!

 

this is good to know because its the only way I'll get one. That and no real skin. Love the look but worry about the unsolved fading problem and all.

 

Iplehouse is awesome with layaways. They only let you go 60 days rather than 90, so it's three payments max instead of more, but they're very nice about it. I've done layaway through them twice. Both times, they sent me a friendly thank you email in response to each of my payments, which helped reassure me that not only had they received and recorded them, but that even though I was paying over time, they were just as interested in my business and me as a customer as they were about anyone else. Major thumbs up on Iple's layaway.

I'm going to wait on this guy until a WS release unless some miracle happens, I think, but from what I can see, he's gorgeous and I'm very interested.

i am definitely looking forward to the release of this guy. i'm definitely not going to be going for the fullset, but if he's released later on, MOST DEFINITELY.

i cans see a smirk going with the head, and i'm also looking forward to just...everything, blatantly, everything. oh lord, i'm defintely liking what i'm seeing as of nose down with the model EID head sculpt~~~~!!!

i love the beefiness and chunk in the EID, but it just wasn't for me. looking at the teasers released by iple, i am in !!!---yes, even with the veins receding into the nether regions [i have forgotten my anatomical terms, the shame!]

and since iple takes care of their clothing for all doll sizes they have, definitely ~!

I want him, the body at least shall be mine somewhere in the future (when I'm not broke mwahaha). Now the only thing I'm angsting about is whether I should get realskin or normal skin. The only thing I hate about the normal skin is that it's pink. PINK! D:<

 

Whoa. I like the sculpt (quite a bit!) but -- and I know this is going to make me an Unpopular Opinion around here -- the veins are a bit much for me. o____O

Possibly because they seem almost a bit too protruding? Maybe they aren't though, I think with the censoring of the genitals it's more shocking. I can't imagine that he's not pretty realistic "down there" though.

Dear god. I am loving those veins and *stumbles over words* Just gorgeous. I was some time ago thinking about an EID Super Hero body for an RP char of mine, but this body is just way more fitting. (Especially seeing as the PlayBy of that char IS actually a model) And he's taaaaaaaaall! *loves*

And he looks prettier than the Idealian. For some reason the Idealian just makes me think of an overly muscular child. I think it's the proportions, while the EID Model obviously looks more grown up.

 

I just compared the Akando Gentle head with the Model Body preview Smirk. Akando's chin is wider/broader and his lips are thicker.

It's definitely not the Akando Gentle head they're showing us there. It's like what they did with Medium bust previews with Luna's face.

but it looks like they've listened to feedback :

He's a little too big for Nicholas sadly. But I DO envision getting that body at some point!

 

Unfortunately that should also mean that his neck might still be too thick for other heads...?

 

Heh, I may end up selling my incoming Soom Beyla to fund getting a IH Model guy. For the first time ever, I have a pre-concieved but disembodied doll character begging for a physical incarnation. Normally it works the other way around for me, doll first then story. Not this time, and Antonio's getting very very insistent and that body would be perfect.

 

This bod will do VERY well for Tamas' youngest son Matthias, who is the very image of his father... just more sarcastic.

I wish so much for a tan version of the new guy! But I've heard about problems with IH darker resin - can anyone tell me more about this? I'm not sure if this was only with realskin or all darker skins or if it was only for a while in the past.
And can anyone tell me if the realskin could be compared to Volks sunlight? Is it darker or lighter?
