Oh, I see. I was under the impression it referred to the mixture of urethane and french resin. At least that's how it was explained to me.

And yes, I referred to the additive that slowed it down significantly (4 days in the sun for mild greening, as far as I recall from a test done by twigling). Considering that colour-changing seems to be due to a chemical property of resin, I really don't think they can do anything to completely prevent it. (I'm sure there's a logical reason behind using the red-green combination)

That's kind of like expecting doll companies to solve the issue of yellowing dolls. Without chemically altering resin (essentially making it a new material), all they can do is add materials to slow down the process and advise their customers not to leave their expensive dolls in the sun.

 

And the Iplehouse database will be changed to "The Ranch Database"

 

What are the best matches to Iple's NS? 8D I really love the Model body, but just in case I end up not liking the head as much, I totally want a reason to get the body, at least. XD See if I can find a head for it if that happens. XD

 

My only problem with the body are those veins in his pelvic region O_o, what's with those? Granted, they probably could be sanded down couldn't they?

My BF has been hounding after the Iplehouse Lou, he'll probably be happy to see they came out with a new body.

Actually, three payments is sixty days. First on day 0 essentially, second 30 days later, third 60 days later. 3 payments/"months" -- but sixty days.

I'm afraid I like the veins too. A nice touch and very sexy, for some bizarre reason. I would imagine they will appear less pronounced in the final cast, but they could always be sanded a little if they are still too big.

And I don't think anyone needs a reason to be hounding after a Luo

 

I love the veins, personally. But my mind immediately goes to the next thing and I WAS hoping it implied something about the size, but from what I saw of the mosaic, it's like... the journey itself was the fun, not the destination. ^^;;;;;;;

Do you think they will do a run of these guys in their cream white resin?

 

As soon as it becomes available in basic, they will do white skin and normal skin options.

That usually happens in 3-4 months after the Noctarcana Circus release, which I think it either late this month or early November.

Though they have been going from Circus release to basic pretty quick, so it's hard to say...

They might be released in basic in time for a Xmas event -if they do the dreaming heads I'm probably screwed. XD;;;;

Is it wierd that I kind or really like that golden color that Iple showed for the UV protect sun test? I've always wanted a doll that was a different color, and that "yellow" is just real nice. Even the green that the old Real Skin turns is fascinating. If I was ever able to get a real skin (haha unlikely so broke) I'd leave him out to get some sun so I could have that interesting color.

Well, unless you plan to keep the body naked from the waist down, I hope the penis is the same size as the Superhero body, because otherwise pants get difficult to fit. :/ It's not like you can shove his resin weenie off to one side, you know?

I am really happy with the Model body though! It's so lovely detailed with wonderful proportions and a beautiful long neck... Well, just have to see what the face mold they do is like, or since the heads are exchangeable with Superhero... Hm.

 

I really like the look of this head so far, with the narrower jawline and that little smirk. But then again... I also love Luo and Akando....

I want to see a frontal view of the legs. I love the gorgeous thigh muscles on the Superhero body. I hope the Model had them too! A little toned down though, of course.

 

I was really WTF?! at the veins first, but I must say, I've really come to like them too. I was considering sanding them off, but I don't think I'll be doing that anymore.

Oooh, come on Iple, show him already! That blurb they put up says they think he'll be ready this Friday, so I'm hoping for at least a teaser! And then monday would be picture day, and Tuesday Luna goes off sale, so a perfect time to start a new man sale!! (<---- wishful thinking)

that's how i paid for my kamau , two days earlier than 90 days, acually, and iplehouse sent me no reminders after the first 60 days....

i guess i will see when my current gentle akando layaway reaches the 60 day mark....
