Iplehouse Fashion Doll Discussion - Part 10

I've asked them to make elves in FID size too both on the Q&A board, and here on DOA when Maru from Iple asked for suggestions.

For Iplehouse elves that can exist in the FID world, take a look at their CREAA J collection. The girls are available with both human heads and fairy/fantasy heads. The bodies are very slim and ethereal so they can't sharing clothing with FID women; otherwise the height is right. Although the heads are the same size, there is a big difference in neck measurements so switching bodies is not an option without major modification. I haven't taken any photos of CREAA girls with FID men and women but I can if anyone is interested.

 

Well, that is interesting to note. I always thought the CREAA J heads were bigger than the FID's, more along the lines of the JID heads. If they could fit aesthetically into the FID world, I might really be in trouble!

 

I managed a quick photo of my CREAA J Leah together with slim body FID Isis and FID Claude. Not a great or creative photo but it shows relative sizes.

CREAA girls are slightly taller than FID women. Isis is wearing heels while Leah has flats on. A CREEA J girl in heels looks better next to a Raccoon man.

 

Oh wow...……...I would have never thought their heads could look so good next to each other. Thanks @vermont chick (I think, you may have opened up a whole other can of worms for me.) I've been tempted by them for a while, but didn't think they would fit in the FID/Raccoon world. They look like they could definitely be teens in that world. Dang it!! LOL!

 

Sorry...I think. Nope, not sorry. You definitely should take a look at CREAAs. They've come a long way since the alien-looking Psyche that Iple introduced initially. This month's Halloween-themed Elysia is a stunner. I only wish I had disposable dolly funds at the moment.

 

Baron arrived today! I had planned on making him a wig and outfit in advance, but haven't been able to sew due to an injured wrist, so he could only wear something I had on hand - not that there's much. And he had to borrow Rex's wig for his introductory photos. Which means I better hurry up and make him a wig of his own.....

 

Thanks so much for sharing this photo and of the very CREAA I would want to order too. It is nice to see the blend pretty well with the FID.

It would be nice to have both available; the CREAA and an FID elf too.

 

I have a pic of just girls , JID, FID and Creaa nude for comparison...I asked Iplehouse for it and they didn't have on themselves but were able to find this really good on... so I do not know who the actual photo belongs to.

@Lady Tiku - The owner's name appears to be at the bottom of the photo: @Reinameron. She's a member here. I'd love to know which CREAA sculpt that is. To my knowledge none of them have closed eyes. Her head looks larger than the current heads and also appears to be a different color than the body.

@MB Lilac - OMG, Baron is gorgeous. Is that Iple's face-up? Because of Iple's photos I took him off my Want List. Looks like he's back on it.

That definitely looks like one of the Dollzone heads one the Creaa body. Not sure which, but one of the tarots I think. .

@vermont chick - Yes, he has the Iplehouse FID Baron faceup. They really didn't have any great promo photos of him in FID size, so I went with how he looked in the bigger version, and just took a chance.

@Patrice S - Thanks! I need to make him a wig today, and see what kind of outfit he'd like.

 

Thanks so much for sharing your Baron, he’s awesome! I’m still waiting for my Baron (ordered him and Isabel at the same time), and have been stalking any new Baron pictures like crazy but there aren’t many of the bigger size and the FIDs have only started arriving. I ordered mine with FID Felix’s type A faceup (planning on making him a redhead) and can’t wait to see how he’ll turn out.

 

Oh, Baron is so handsome. I really like IH faceups and also the fact that they will change a little or a lot.

Here is Branden who is playing a character in a mini-series. His co-star seems quite smitten.

@Lady Tiku - The name begins under Harace's left foot (her left, not the viewer's) and ends between the CREAA-J body's feet.

@TatterPunk - I had a sneaking suspicion that wasn't a CREAA head. That explains a lot.

@Maria - I look forward to seeing your Baron with the Felix type A face-up. I would be tempted to order Baron with his FID face-up but ask Iplehouse to omit his beard. I can't imagine they'd charge extra for it as they'd be leaving something out and not replacing it with anything.

@LaurieESW - I'm sitting here chuckling because that's the sort of response FairyLand usually gives when asked if something will be available soon. I wouldn't expect FID elves this year seeing as this year is almost over, but how much later will they consider them? That is the $60 million question.
