Your collection is wonderful LyanneNZ, and of course dressed to perfection. I am very curious about those stands I see peeking out by the boys. Do you have a picture of the? Did you make them?

@sisen those wooden stands are from Reba who used to make them many years ago - I had them to fit my CED dolls and my Cissys. The later adjustable ones are great and I have a few of them but the ones that were of fixed height don't work perfectly for the girls with their high heels. I would really like to have some custom ones..I doubt that I will ever get around to making any. I haven't found a perfect solution for stands yet...they need their own custom saddle stands I think

 

Seconding the he-meife recommendation from @LyanneNZ. I have a huge wardrobe of shoes for my girls thanks to them.

I have a question (I've been searching but couldn't really find an answer) about shoes for the male model bodies.

On Aliexpress it seems that most shoes are 8cm for 1/3, or 6.5cm for 1/4. Has anyone bought 8cm shoes for the model body, and are they way too big? Or could I make the 6.5cm shoes fit the model body? According to measurements, the model body has a foot length of 6.7cm. I've heard Peter Pevensie shoes fit, but I can only find a few pairs and they're not really my style. Iplehouse & SatoriaJ also have limited styles.

 

@ATBryant - Model feet are not 6.7cm, they are the same size as muscle feet 7cm. I have both. You can find some Peter Pevensie shoes from the ebay seller he-meife. They more or less fit the FID feet. (Sometimes the shop is empty, but if you check again later they return the stock.)

@ATBryant There are some MSD shoes that fit the FID men. (And the link to trickyfeet in my signature might be helpful) And flat SD girl shoes usually fit, but most look girly.

 

@ResinRapture Thanks for the information! A few of those shoes are the same I saw on Aliexpress, including the beige sneakers. They list the inner length at 6.5cm, so I guess it's really hit or miss.

 

Thanks @ResinRapture that's really nice of you! Sorry have been absent from here for a couple of days...yes, I made all of their clothes. I keep meaning to buy some Iplehouse or Sartoriaj for them but then end up adding to their wardrobe myself. I love sewing for them.

I have He-Meife's Peter Pevensie sized shoes and boots for my Iplehouse FID men too.

 

Played with Rhi (my Raffine) a bit today...……...I had never put her high heel feet on her to model some of the heels I bought from He-Meife on Ebay. Dress is by Robyn of Period Threads.

I can finally contribute to this thread! My Baron and Isabel arrived on Friday, and I absolutely adore them. Their size is just what I’ve been looking for, and they are so amazing!

My Baron is in Special Real Skin and on the Model body, custom faceup by Iplehouse, they did an amazing job. He needs a wig badly, want him to be a strawberry blonde/redhead. I love the bone structure of his face, those gorgeous cheekbones.

His name is James.
