I was wrong, everything is on sale as advertised. It is 11/29/19 in South Korea. Eastern time plus 14. Albeit, it's the middle of the night.

 

Beat me to it @Mahgiep XD Was gonna note that it is 11/29 in Korea.

I snagged my gentle tedros! He's gonna be my big tough dude.

 

Very excited about the sale!!! I'm wondering though - they're not going to release a new FID this time, right? I know they have other times, but it was always announced in advance, wasn't it? I'm planning to order a girl, but I haven't decided on sculpt yet - so if there's going to be a new sculpt released before the end of the sale, I want to wait! Anyone have any idea?

I also want to know about the calendar - the notice says the calendar is free if you order JID size or larger, so I don't know if they count FID as larger or smaller! I'd really like the calendar! I suppose I could ask on the Iplehouse board...

 

i can answer that FID gets the calendar... i have extra's from last year lol

I finally finished Lawrence, and am very happy with him. It just took three years of trying to figure him out.....

Finally was able to put one of these beauties on order >w<~

I ordered Edan on the model body with mobility thighs in special real skin. He is going to be my character Tatsu.

I have another character I am wanting to order soonish as well, but like morganatron I am going to wait a bit and see if they release another girl sculpt sometime soonish.

 

They told me in July that they planned to release Bibiane in December. In September they was working on Luna and Victor but did not know when they would be released.

 

Last year they released an FID during the holiday sales period. Typically they have not had any % off the FID, that I can remember (other than when they were first introduced) so that is a nice addition this year.

Each year the event is a little different.

The following image is from last year's sale event -- just for comparison purposes.

 

I will be ordering Baron on the model body in normal skin, so I wanted them to reproduce a faceup that is already shown on a light resin. I chose FID Lawrence's Type A faceup. It's shown on peach gold but I figure it will translate better to normal skin than a faceup that's shown on a dark resin.

@MB Lilac - Sir Lawrence looks regal, bold and strong. I imagine he'd wear a crown well.

 

Ooh, Bibiane (in large form) is very lovely... well, I guess there's no harm in waiting until a bit later in the sale period before ordering, just in case. Besides, I can't decide about bust size and skin tone choices at this point, so I can't order until I make a decision anyway! I definitely want the curvy body, but I can't decide between the medium and the large bust. The medium looks nice and in proportion, and would probably work with more clothing styles, but I do like the, well, curves of the large bust! And I do want her to be a sexy kind of a lady, but despite the pictures, it's hard to work out how it would look in real life somehow! Decisions, decisions...

 

... did you say.... Luna??? As long as she wasn't made i didn't have a reason to duplicate my SD in fun size I'm gonna die in abject poverty now... but with dolls ... lol?

 

I must admit I think Bibiane would be a lovely option in FID size. Having said that I still have dolls on my wish-list so how about I order one of those and then if Bibiane pops up well...might just have to order her too darn it! Hehe
