1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Iplehouse Fashion Doll Discussion - Part 10

    1. :sob: I was just going to order an FID Bichun but then I saw Luna and, welp, a fullset may have happened. I'm a sucker for the whole cavalier/duelist thing. I can't wait!

    2. I hope this is the right place to ask, does anyone know where to get jointed hands for a male FID?

    3. I should add, I committed the Bochum as well because Luna should have a friend, right? I figure if I dress him in that SartoriaJ Admiral outfit they’ll make a nice duo.

      * Bichun, not Bochum. Darn that autocorrect! I'm so looking forward to the glow resin.

    5. Last night I finally committed to ordering Baron. I'm nervous about the faceup because it's the first time I've ordered custom instead of default. He'll have normal skin and Lawrence's Type A faceup. Fingers crossed that it works.

@Olga Borontova - Love the dress and hat set!

Thank you for your attention to my work :)

    7. Yey congratulations! Can’t wait to see what he’ll look like! How much more expensive was the custom faceup if you don’t mind me asking?

    9. With so many lovely ladies I can't pick which one I want to be Mr. Serious wife ( girl friend first ).

    10. Pick two, then he can choose. That's what I did. I ordered Yur and Grace.

    12. Baron's default (with beard, which is the only faceup offered) is $64. Custom (with no beard) came to $69. So, a whopping $5 more! Totally worth it, if you ask me.

    13. I'm curious, how do y'all store your dolls when not playing with em? Do you have a little couch? Back in the boxes? Doll stands? I went to Hobby Lobby looking for doll stands and the quality of their product was horrendous. I'm thinking of ordering something.

    14. @sleepxwalker Mine are all in chairs and beds. I can't stand packing them away. I love them to keep me company in my bedroom.

    15. I love the lighting in this shot. Perfect!

    16. I've fixed up some of the cheap stands by adding fabric to the base and hot glue to the harsh metal waist parts, and my dolls live in a big cabinet. It was intended to be an entertainment center with bookshelves on either side, and sliding doors that can cover the middle--but I've adjusted the shelves to fit my dolls in the middle instead :) Then I can close the doors to protect them from sunlight, pets, and kids, but when I open the doors they're on display nicely!

    17. mostly the sit on furniture i've found sometimes the stand if they are in a place where they can't fall (ie one stands behind/beside one in a chair) I cover them with a dust drape to block the sun since mine face a huge picture window. But i find anything that will work for seating including ocasionally other containers i keep doll stuff in. Just w/e works.

    18. All in their boxes when I'm not doing something with them. I don't have display space and my cat cannot be trusted with natural fibre wigs as he believes those are his toys that I've conveniently put on stands for him.

    19. Mine are all in glass cabinets but the cabinets are kept covered with blockout covers in my darkened room. I do wish we didn't have to worry about light as much but they are accessible to me and are all on display as soon as I pull back the front of the covers :) (Its a pity to have to cover nice glass cabinets too!)

@TatterPunk I love this photo...the lighting is perfect! Very dramatic effect!
