I got a ring light from my husband for my birthday today, and tested it with my Genevieve (Isabel). The winters are so dark here and we have practically no natural light from October to January, and even when the spring sun starts to shine it’s only for a short while and usually when I’m at work anyways so this will be a great help!

Elle has that glamorous Lyanne touch, she turned out wonderful!
I really like the way you new light plays in the eyes of your doll, Maria! What fun to be able to photograph when you want to now.

 

Can I see pictures of Carina in lighter skintones? I'm trying to figure out if she could work for a character I have in mind, and I also want to make sure I'm as much in love with her as I am with the EID version, but the official site only shows her in the really dark skin and it's making it hard for me to tell how the faceup would look on her.

 

My Lawrence finally has his queen. She's Raccoon Monica and will be getting some new hands soon - the FID Fantasy hands with the long nails....

 

@Maria A ring light will be really useful. I know just what you mean...its so hard to take photos when the daylight won't cooperate. Your girl looks lovely here.

I have ordered high heel feet (in the right style this time) for Vale! Now the poor guy can wear the style of heeled shoe that he should be. I also added another pair of heeled feet for one of my SD Vito boys (the "new" style SID women heeled feet fit reasonably well on the Vito boy ankle) and decided to see if a pair of the Creaa-J girl heel feet will fit Wisp (Creaa-J Lev) because he would totally rock the shoes with the butterfly heels I ordered him. Merry belated doll Xmas to me!

 

@Patrice S - Thank you! I switched out her wig for this photo and like it much better, even though I'm still wondering if I shouldn't replace her with an Iple lady. Knowing I wasn't 100% on board with her, I made the gown to fit a slim FID. Just in case.
