Oh, WOW @MB Lilac ! The new gown is gorgeous! Could Winston be her spirit animal, perhaps? They look great together.

 

I really like this one on Bianca, but then I have to make a knight outfit for Rex, and I already had a couple of other plans in mind for those two. I'm not sure who will end up with this gown, but I suspect Winston will have some kind of relationship with her. 'Spirit animal' sounds good.

I got some new gowns for my girls from my friend Robyn at Period Threads this week. Rhi (Raffine) and Reaghan (Elle) are Druids, so I thought these gowns were the perfect style for them.

Simple but lovely, @JinCIncy. Robyn did a good job on them. I especially like how she finished the edges on them. As an added bonus, this style should fit every body Iplehouse and Raccoon make.

 

Thanks! Yes, I love the lettuce leaf hem too...……...and I am thrilled it will fit all body types. I have belts for them made out of the same material as well, so you can belt the front piece and make it more togaish. A very versatile wardrobe piece.

Anyone know if Iple is supposed to release a new sculpt of FID this month? I see they are up FS again.

 

@JinCIncy I don't believe so, but I would love Bella as a FID. And somehow I am wondering why nYid are less expensive, but the curvy FID body (which is considerably smaller) cis the same as the larger FID girls.

 

I was just wondering about new sculpts too. Still waiting on Bibiane over here, but starting to think Stella might work if that doesn't materialize.

 

I have done a little photoshopping in the hope to persuade Iplehouse to release KID heads in proportion to the FIDs. Wouldn't it be lovely to be able to create families? I think the existing KID bodies are actually already a good fit, it's just the head size. Wouldn't it be great if Iplehouse would offer a smaller KID head option along with the existing body? What do you think?

@ResinRapture - Totally agree. As I commented on your blog, this should be easy for them to do. They already digitally downsize EID, SID and nYID to make FID. All the KID needs is a head downsize from a 6-7 wig to a 5-6.

 

I doubt they'd agree to it though. I asked them once if they'd consider shrinking some of their bigger guys to JID size so there's actually be some more mature choices, but they refused.

 

@ResinRapture Awesome idea! In your photo the KID body looks like a realistically sized child next to the FID. The difference in hand sizes also appears spot on for an adult and child.

 

@MB Lilac Well, they kind of did with the FID guys.

 

Exactly, but FIDs and JIDs don't work together, and I have way more JIDs than FIDs, and most are ladies in need of a handsome guy, and there's only so many Owens I was willing to get for them. So I figured how hard could it be to make a couple of new JIDs by reducing some of the bigger guys. But no.
