- Pretty good, I posted a lot of question during this order period and they answered promptly and politely.

- He was shipped on the 25th of March and arrived on the 27th, so it took 47 days.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
- Yep yep! I especially love the attention they put on the details of his clothes!

- Tedros skin is lighter in person than in the sale picture, other than that, he's perfect!

How was the communication?
Really no communication necessary. I ordered through their website which was the most painless and easy site to order through. Although I never got my confirmation email, I was still able to track my order from the webpage so there really wasn't any issue there. I knew where my order was at through the whole process.

How easy was it to pay?
Very easy. I paid via Paypal straight from the site.

How long did it take to ship?
I received it today (Wednesday, 7th April 2010.) It is by the far the fastest shipping yet from overseas. I've never had a package arrive so darn fast.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes, I would say so.

Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes, it certainly did.

* How was the communication?
Communication was good! I got confirmation e-mails for ordering and a shipping notice, and they answered my Q&A question within a week even though I found the answer out by myself, haha.

* How easy was it to pay?
For some reason I could not figure out how to pay them via Paypal and had to come here to see what their Paypal email was... though I just ordered from them again now and it was incredibly easy to send money (they basically walk you through it), so I think I just might've been too flustered at the time to figure it out!

* How long did it take to ship?
He shipped out March 17th, and arrived March 19th. I was incredibly impressed with not only how soon they made him and painted him, but with how soon he came to my house!! Awesome shipping!

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Definitely - he's one beast of a doll. His sculpt is absolutely gorgeous and his resin is nice, toothy and heavy! He's a little weird to pose, but with how buff he is that's something to expect.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
The faceup was a little more dark in the lips than the picture shown on the website and he's a little more smiley (the line in between his lips looks a tad more extended than in the photos), but that's no biggie - merely just difference between painters/other Luos. Other than that, he looked even better!

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Absolutely satisfied - at the time of posting he's the most expensive thing I've ever bought, but I don't regret a penny! Even the icky shipping cost was worth it to get him so fast!

None was necessary. I ordered through their website which was painless and easy. Although I never received a confirmation email, I was still able to track my order from the web page, so there really wasn't any issue there. I knew where my order was through the entire process.

Very; I just used PayPal.

Just under a month; I received Amy on March 12th.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

Absolutely. I love Iplehouse dolls. They are amazing. And I have always had good luck with the company's clothes and wigs.

Yes, definitely.

Yes; the doll is wonderful, and the socks and shoes are top quality. The wig is nice too, just a tad big, so it comes down over her ears a bit much, but looks fine. I like to put a hat on Amy when she wears it so it is more secure.

I received it on April 30th, so it took just a bit more than a month. Very fast when we consider that I added items.

* How was the communication? Excellent. When I wanted to add the default outfit to my order, Iplehouse had me redo the order and just moved my layaway payment into it.

* How easy was it to pay? Very easy. When I sent in layaway payments I always asked them if they got it and they always reply back.

* How long did it take to ship? When the payments were done it did take about 3 weeks to get a shipping conformation. But when it was in transit it took about 4 or 5 days.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Definatly. Tedros is very well made along with his clothes and shoes. I doubted his face up at first because I saw a sort of overbite look in the company photos. When he arrived there was no sign of it.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures? On the dot, but again without the overbite look in the mouth.

* Were you satisfied with the product? Overly satisfied

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes, Jessica is more lovely in person and her normal skin has a lovely translucent quality to it. Also the clothing and shoes were well made and fitted well.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes. After I ordered Asa they released my other favorite sculpt on the new SID body and I was considering selling Asa when she got here. BUT when she arrived I was completely speechless. She is gorgeous and the sculpt is amazing.

* How was the communication?

I didn't really need to communicate with them until after he arrived, they replied to their doll hospital board in a few days. So far as speed goes I don't have any complaints.

They do not however send shipping notices anymore, and I did not like that so much. This isn't such a big deal when you know about it, however (I did not at first).

* How easy was it to pay?

Easy enough, I paid through their shopping cart with credit card

* How long did it take to ship?

I received the doll on June 7th, as I received no shipping notice via email I can't tell you when exactly it sent out. But EMS generally takes 3-4 days from Korea, based on past experience.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

No.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?

Yes and no. I bought the doll blank, so it wouldn't look like the painted sales picture, obviously. I say no because of the obvious problems with the head. It was not finished to a smooth surface and had several scratches and chips around the ears and at the back of the head, though thankfully no cracks or other severe structural damage.

* Were you satisfied with the product?

Not at all.

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?

They didn't. They basically advised me to sand the head's surface smooth myself and suggested the the scratches could be covered by a wig, and since they could be covered by a wig it was not their responsibility to do anything. * Would you order from this company again?

Unfortunately I have to say no. Although I have ordered from Iplehouse in the past with no problems, this experience with their customer service does not inspire confidence in the company, so far as I am concerned. I have lost my trust that they will deliver a quality product.

Yes, I would consider doing so. And I would even accept similar defects to what I encountered in a second hand product. The issue with this transaction is that I paid for a brand new doll, not a doll with damages, however small.

1. about 26 days (Jan 12), so just a little over 3 weeks (though I didn't get an email notification that it had shipped, it was a most welcome surprise)
2. the May order was shipped 2 days after I placed the order

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes. Akando was quite hefty, and the wigs and clothing were well-made (the only thing though was that one of the sleeves of the shirt took a bit of struggle to pull up the doll's hand, but otherwise, all was good).

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Not quite on Akando, but that's understandable as the way one paints one doll can be quite different when painting another of the same sculpt. But all the other ones were as pictured.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes, very. He was the first doll that made me want to collect BJDs, so yeah, had to have.

* What did you order?

NS Asa with face up, a pink sweater and a long black wig.

* When did you order?

Mid-May.

* How was the communication?

There were no confirmation emails but I was able to check the status of my order on the website.

* How easy was it to pay?

Fairly easy; used Paypal but there was no invoice.

* How long did it take to ship?

About a month, which was shorter than their stated time of 30-40 business days for a doll.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

The resin quality is nice, and I appreciate how they designed the pieces so that the seams would be on the back of the doll where they'd be harder to notice. The elbow and knee joints are engineered strangely so that bending them further than 90 degrees takes a little finagling and looks funny, though. Also, the pieces meant to hide the wrist joints pop out when the wrists are bent too far. Overall though, I feel like I got my money's worth. The E.I.D. woman body (with medium bust) has very natural proportions. I also appreciate the inclusion of high-heeled feet, which are necessary for a lot of shoes in her size.

The wig looks and feels nice but sheds; the sweater is delicately knit and very nice.

EDIT: After one week, the resin hook in her right foot snapped under normal conditions. I did not contact Iple about this because I gathered from other threads that Iple expects the customer to pay for a replacement set of feet, which I find unreasonable.

No, because I ordered makeup A and they sent me makeup B.

* Were you satisfied with the product?

No; I dislike makeup B, which is why I didn't order it.

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?

They told me to send the head back by regular airmail so they could redo the makeup. I am still waiting to hear back from them.

EDIT: One week after I shipped the head back, I still had not heard anything from Iple so I enquired whether the head had arrived safely. They told me that it had, and that they had completed the makeup and sent it back. This was a lie, because I still do not have the head back. Additionally, whereas they originally told me they would reimburse me for shipping, they only gave me store credit, which is not equivalent to cash.

No, I would not.

How was the communication?
Ordered through their website so didn't really need to communicate with them.

How easy was it to pay?
Very easy. Used paypal as always.

Received it today, 25th June 2010 - so roughly 5 working days after ordering (I ordered on a Saturday). Again super fast service. I didn't receive any shipping notification or order confirmation but I could track it on the site so there wasn't an issue.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Definitely. The wig is very soft to the touch and is of high quality.

Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes it did.

May 13th, but sent my final payment on May 20th.

* How was the communication?
Communication was good through their Q&A board. To note, they are similar to NDoll in that you have to get your shipping status directly from the website. You will also find your tracking number under your order status.

* How easy was it to pay?
Easy, with PP.

* How long did it take to ship?
It shipped 17 business days from my last payment--lightning fast (22 days from when I ordered)! She made it to Canada in a little over a day, then was processed through Canada customs and Canada Post for a few days. So, shipping was about five days.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Fantastic quality. However, she arrived with a cracked knee, so I am working on this matter with Iplehouse right now. I am hoping that this will be worked out smoothly. EDIT: They sent me a replacement at the end of July, but they did not tell me they sent it out, nor did they send me a tracking number. On top of that, they sent me the WRONG leg. So now I still have a broken leg! They said they would send out another one and I made sure to re-iterate several times which leg was broken and circled it in a photo. It has now been nearly two months since they sent her with a broken leg. 21 business days after the wrong part was received, they sent me her new leg. Thankfully, this is all resolved now.

Yes! Her face is beautiful, but her leg has damage.

Aside from the knee damage, yes I am.

They have yet to resolve it. EDIT: They sent me a replacement at the end of July, but they did not tell me they sent it out, nor did they send me a tracking number. * How was the communication? Amazing! I was asking questions before I even ordered and they always answered and were very nice and polite, and at one point I even messed up my comments password and wasn't able to go in to see their reply, and they re-posted it for me. Their customer service is amazing in my opinion.

* How easy was it to pay? As easy as entering the email address, putting in the amount of the order including shipping, and clicking "pay now". I did send them a note with the order number, letting them know I paid in full by Paypal, to make sure they received it, and they replied saying they did

* How long did it take to ship? I ordered during the time that they were REALLY busy, so it took 48 days (34 business days) and on the site they say it should take 30 to 40 business days, so the were well within the time frame they advertise. My doll went "on shipping" June 3rd, and I had her in my hands by June 8th, only becasue the mailman didn't bother to even try to deliver her when he had her on Monday, so I had to go to the post office on Tuesday morning to rescue her

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Very nice! There's a few weird spots on her, and some seam lines are very noticeable, but I chalk that up to resin that dark being hard to cast so I can live with it.
Did the item look like the sales pictures?
I think the tan is a little "cooler" in color than in the sales pictures, but a nice color nonetheless!
Were you satisfied with the product?
Very satisfied! Iplehouse pierced her ears like I requested and she came without any breaks or major scratches.
